  1. I am waiting to hear back from my surgery center on whether or not a caffeine free (non stimulant) pre-workout is okay to use. So while I wait, do any of you use one or no? I do find without a pre workout, but always love that extra push they provide. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. Girrrrrrrrrrl salad! I bought one of the Dole salad kits from Kroger and portioned it out into three salads and it did great! So. Good. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Eating habits = no Bueno.

Carbs seem like more of a struggle than ever before. They go down a LOT easier than any meat. UGH I am so upset with myself! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. Okay WLS friends, I am struggling. I'm 6 weeks post op and I just had two (single serving) size bags of chips and a very small piece of pizza at a work event. Over the course of two hours. But still. I'm not hurting, it tasted great and I regret every single bite. I'm posting this to hold myself accountable. I recognize where I went wrong (not preparing my dinner KNOWING what kind of foods I would be around tonight). I think I just need a little encouragement. I go for my 6 week post op check up Wednesday morning and will be cleared to workout again. Please tell me I'm not alone in messing up like this? I refuse to go back to my old ways. Has my body smell changed?

Ladies, has anyone else experienced smelling bad "down there?" I pray it's not just me! I am really weirded out. I have great hygiene, but nothing seems to help! I'm almost a month post-op. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Puréed shmureed

Thanks everyone!! I really needed this accountability. I had about 4 bites of a plain, small pancake. Was not even satisfying. Sticking to my Proteins. I get anywhere from 60-80 grams of Protein a day which was recommended by my surgeon. It's just really hard to be eating the same things over and over. I'm growing so tired of the same ole same ole. But I know I'm just in the beginning, so being consistent is important to my success. No more pancakes or spaghetti o's . Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm not touching syrup or butter! Just a small plain pancake and a soft scrambled egg! I'm craving everything! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Okay bypassers, I'm 2 1/2 weeks post-op. I've had no issues with food thus far. The past couple of nights I had half can of Spaghetti O's just to switch things up. No problems or discomfort. I've been living off of mashed potatoes and puréed chicken salad. It's been great, but I'm ready for something other than the taste of chicken in my mouth. Getting to the point: my boyfriend is making himself some pancakes this morning and I'm dying to try one plain. Words of wisdom and/or warning, please!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I am dying to chew something! I'm exactly a week post op. Been living off of Protein shakes and Soup broth from my fav Asian restaurant. I have included some powdered Peanut Butter in my shakes and that makes them taste more like a treat vs a boring Protein shake. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
