I had my surgery on the 27th, too. My doctor put me on the purée phase on day eight. I have been eating egg beaters' yogurt' applesauce' baby food, sugar free pudding, mashed potatoes, and cottage cheese. So far, with my fluids, things have been going smoothly.
My surgery is on the 27th. The closer it gets, the more emotional I get. I am angry at myself that I got myself this unhealthy that I need this surgery. My emotions are just all over the place.
I start my liquid diet on June 13th and my surgery date is June 27th. After a year of medical tests and doctor appointments, I am ready. I am excited to become comfortable in my skin again. I have been uncomfortable for far too long.
