  1. I have the same dreams. They seem so real. Sent from my SM-T813 using the BariatricPal App
  2. I started the process with AHS in March, I have done all the classes and met with the surgeon. He recommended the sleeve vs the bypass (this would have been my preference) due to my existing GI issues. He thought perhaps November surgery date. I have been for an upper GI, and still need the scope and the nose test (?) I don't recall the name. I am struggling a bit with the dietian but I am getting there.
  3. Why Regina? If you don't mind my asking? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    Right choice

Actually the gas/flatulence after surgery. I have read that it can be unbearable.
  8. I've been wondering about weight-loss surgery for a really long time. I've read about it, look for success stories, read success stories read horror stories. As this becomes closer to be at realityi'm getting nervous that I making the wrong decision. I fear the after affects like the bad gas. what if I really miss food? 10. Good morning, I am writing in hopes that someone might have some information/guidence on this process from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I have just started taking the steps to go through the weight manangement program. This involves many courses, appointments with specialists, and hopefully surgery. They don't know how long it might take but at least a year to two years is what I have been told. My health is not good at all due to my weight. I have tried just about EVERYTHING to do this without surgery.
