Who was sleeved in January 2016?

Sleeved January 26th. I'm having a hard time with depression. I'm only down 41 pounds and it's been really hard. I too get sick of the same foods but they're starting to grow on me. I don't care to go out but it's so hard to run errands and have that "hunger" pain. I get stressed out needing to eat certain foods. I only eat foods that need to be refrigerated so that's an extra pain. I workout, follow my diet etc... But 41 pounds... That's it... I too am nauseous all the time. I drink Protein shakes right when I wake up or have a high protein yogurt to help settle it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I'm calling on Monday. I was freaked out at another post of all these people going back to work after a week or two and yet I'm still here at four weeks feeling like crap. Lol As far as work, no I cannot have anything on the floor not even Water. Plus its just too busy and there's constantly something going on. As far as food goes I get really sharp pains if I try different things. I thought the world was coming to an end when I had a bite of salmon. I found a new Soup that is good that's about it. I need to give my stomach a break from trying new things. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
  3. These forums are freaking me out. I feel like nobody has gone through what I'm going through. Not helping my anxiety. I have had no word on any labs or Vitamins. He just looked at me and said ok you're clear to start solids. I'm almost a month out and am still eating liquids and mush. The most solid food I can stomach is refried Beans with a little avocado and the occasional ritz cracker that's chewed to death. I get horrible stomach cramps and pain if I eat anything more than that. So I'm freaking out about starting back at work and I don't have any control of my food. I don't sit at all at work and generally log in 10k steps a day. I work retail and I cannot be off the floor to eat every hour.. My boss would flip and send me back out on leave. I have a sheet of paper with some food items on it and a diet plan of what to eat and when. Nothing very detailed. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
  4. You guys are all awesome! I still think you're crazy but awesome lol. I had the sleeve and I know what it's like at work and I just still can't imagine going back. I don't sit at all during the day except for my lunch break. Should be interesting. We shall see here in a few weeks. I'm just looking for energy to shower everyday at the moment. 5. It's not an option for me either it's my biggest concern. I'm afraid I'll fail. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
  6. I'm still on liquids so I'm hoping it gets better soon. If I try to eat anything else I get sick... I was not prepared enough for this and now I'm panicked. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
  7. Was anyone worried about having your eating and workout habits down before starting work? Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
  8. I couldn't imagine being back at work already. It's so crazy to see how many people went back so early. I'm having trouble with all food lately so I know I'm not getting enough energy, but wow kudos lol. I feel like a baby but I sit down and within twenty minutes I'm out cold for a few hours. I try to move around as much as I can. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal

    Bay Area surgeons?

Now Dr Chin doesn't have great bedside manner but he's an amazing surgeon. He mainly is an ER trauma surgeon and he does bariatric two days a week. So I trusted him a lot. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
  10. I did! My doctor kinda sucks honestly. Maybe I'm just being pissy because I'm hating life but I get no help and have no idea who to talk to or go to for answers. You used a lot of abbreviations that I don't know. lol I had it done through Bay Area Surgical. I'm suffering for the reputation of my surgeon... I picked an amazing surgeon he's just terrible with anything else. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal At my 2 week post appointment he said "ok I'll see you in three months." 11. Thank you! I honestly feel lost with all this. My doctor is like wham, bam, thank you mam! I get no help now that I had my surgery. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal

    Bay Area surgeons?

I will say Dr Chins office was a hassle but I put up with it because of his reputation as a surgeon. I found one person in the office who got things done and that's who I work with solely now. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
  13. Hey All. I am three weeks and three days post op. I have lost 20 pounds and for the past three days I have stalled in my weight loss. Has anyone else had this experience? Also, I am so exhausted I sleep 12-16 hours a day. I can't even imagine how some of you went back to work after a week or so. I'm terrified going back to work at six weeks. I'm so scared to go back to my old ways and not eat what I need. I work a very high stress job where I am not able to sit or take many breaks. Now I'm just ranting but it would be nice to hear some experiences. My doctor hasn't been of much help. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal

    One for the ladies!

I got mine literally ten minutes before surgery and ended up bleeding for 12 days after. They gave me this cotton panty thing when I got up to the room. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
  15. I'm having a similar issue. I received 6 weeks leave. I'm currently 3 weeks post but I can't even shower daily it wears me out. I sleep around 14-16 hours a day. I work on my feet and move around a lot. Anyone else feel the same? Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
