    Any FEBRUARY sleevers?!

Are you taking Prilosec or something like that. It will stop the rumbling. The rumbling is from over production of stomach acid. The constant rumble Also causes you to think you are hungry.

    Any FEBRUARY sleevers?!

I start purée tomorrow and I am so glad! I had tomato soup today and it tasted sooo wonderful. I couldn't hardly stand the creamy soups but progresso tomato =yum! I drink room temp water and it seems to go down easier than cold water.
  3. Tracey, hope all went perfectly today!! Sent from my iPad using BariatricPal
  4. I have had the same pain. It gets worse if I bend over. I am pretty sure it's just gas and some reflux but I was scared too. Glad to know I am not the only one.
  5. Hang in there Tracey! It is hard. I am still struggling a at post op day 3 but it is already so much better. Just focus on small sips and staying hydrated. Also walking gets rid of the horrible gas pain! [emoji120]????
  6. I live in Texas. I only did 7 day pre op and it was 2 protein shakes then a lean cuisine for supper. I think it helped me get mentally ready for my lifestyle change. Good Luck on your surgery day!

    Any FEBRUARY sleevers?!

I am post op day 2. This has been the best day since surgery. I am now drinking clear protien and taking my multi vitamin. I actually gained part of my pre op diet weight loss back while in the hospital. I suppose it's from all the fluids they give you. My surgeon gave me a 1l bolus of fluid before sending me home to help prevent dehydration.
  8. Look for premier Protein at Sams or Walmart. They are good and have 30g of protein per serving. Sent from my iPad using BariatricPal
  9. I am 40 and my BMI is 32. You will do great. I have many friends who have done it and all say that it's worth it. We just gotta get past the first few weeks. Which I think are going to be the toughest. Sent from my iPad using BariatricPal
  10. When I first woke up I had a lot of gas pain and nausea. They gave me medicine until I was more comfortable. Yesterday just was not a great day. Today I am 100 percent better. I got a heating pad for the gas pain that seems to be worse in my shoulders and it helps more than anything else to control the pain. I can tolerate water and broth now without nausea. So it starts off rough but quickly you will feel better. I would still say the pain was worth it!
  11. I had my surgery yesterday. I am Leary home sipping liquids. Sent from my iPad using BariatricPal Already not Leary. Sent from my iPad using BariatricPal
