For those of you with a starting BMI of 50 or more, how long was the wait?

My initial consult was Nov 2015, and my surgery date is set for March 2016. My insurance did not require anything other than proof that I had tried non-surgical options within the last year. I simply printed my billing history from WeightWatchers, and that was sufficient for them. They approved it on the first try. It could be because my BMI is high (it's 58). Good luck to you!
