It was my partners birthday and we went out for a big family meal ( booked ages ago) I just sat there with a glass of Water...it just got to me I guess! But thank you all :-) Im with u its been very hard for me. This last week im stick 2 it if it kills me. We can do it. Why our name is nikki You're right...Nicky's are strong :-) thank you xx

I know you should never ask people how much they weigh,I for one would be angry if I got asked that anywhere else but this site...I feel comfortable enough to talk about it with you guys anyone else feel comfortable enough to share their weight? I'm 5"6 and my heaviest was 21stone but got down to 19 then went to see my doctor to see if I could have a sleeve as I have problems with my back..he said he would send me to see a surgeon! From then I lost a further 14 pounds he then put me through for surgery on the 1st of March then a week ago I had a call to say he has a space for the 16 th and I had to start my pre op diet right away which was 1 pint of milk... Up to 8 yogurts and water for 2 weeks,I'm now a week in and weight is 17st13pounds 1 more week to go :-)

I week until I'm admitted into hospital,so excited! Lost 13 pounds so far in pre op diet! Hospital bag packed and ready to go!!

I've got ten days until my surgery and would really like to talk to someone who's going through the same thing...pre op diet is liquid only which I'm ok with until the evening? Any advice?

I had a hard time because of hunger and tiredness the first two days. Wednesday and Thursday weren't as hard but I was still hungry. Today I had a harder time because there was a Superbowl Party right behind my desk, but I have fantastic friends that brought veggies and low fat dip and a strawberry salad. I had raw veggies with a little dip and a salad with some raspberry vinaigrette. Not too much sugar and I didn't veer far off the path too far. I had a shake an hour ago because I stay hungry! Do the best you can. It's a struggle but you can do it! it's hard isn't it,I'm on a liquid only diet so I'm allowed 8 yogurts a day with 1 pint of milk that's all :-( the yogurts are making me feel sick though so only managed to eat half of one today and yesterday! But I've lost 8 pounds so that's good I guess! Thank you for your support :-) we can get through this ???? 10 days left until surgery!!

8 pounds since Tuesday ... It's hard though!!

15th Feb for me :-) pre op diet is harder then I thought though :-( any advice?

I'm having my surgery on the 15th :-) would love a buddy to help get through it...I'm on day 3 of liquid diet,been told to drink I pint of milk a day and between 8_12 yogurts 60cals at 120g pot that's all!

Wow...you're lucky!!

My surgery has been put forward as someone dropped out...looks Like I'm getting it on the 15th...I'm excited but day 3 of liquid pre ok diet is hard :-( so glad I found a chat room though :-)
