Has anyone had their surgery cancelled for any reason?

I go into hospital on Monday so that 3 days away and I woke up this morning feeling a bit yukky,I think it's a start of a cold and now I'm stressing out because I'm scared my surgery will be cancelled :-( anyone feeling like this?

Random question but what was your first period like after surgery? I'm in so much pain :-( I'm usually in pain as I have endometriosis and PCOS so time of the month is never pleasent but this time it's worst!

I'm 3 weeks out and only lost 9 pounds :-( so gutted!!

I'm 3 days post op been told to eat soup and drink any kind of liquid ... Is this too much to eat? I couldn't finish this by the way! Just curious what you all think? I'm drinking orange juice and water too.

It's getting close now,4 more days ???? just wondering is there anything particular I need to pack in my hospital bag? I've got a night gown rather then pjs as it will be loose on my tummy,dressing gown,slippers,wash bag,lip balm and a pillow!! Anything else I need yo take?

I feel the same,especially at night...the last few nights I've gotten up at like 3am and sucked on a ice lolly..just water ones I made myself which helps so try that x

Yea think I might start staying away from juice,only drinking it because I'm struggling with my vitamins so my dietitian said to try orange juice as it's giving me vitamin C x

I'm struggling to take the liquid vitamins and iron :-( I'm 3 days post op and drinking orange juice so I'm thinking that's giving me vitamin C and eating/ sipping soup! I feel ok though,is it important to take the vitamins? And how long until I can go into chewy ones?

Feeling soooo much better today :-) I'm home now and I've not been sick since last night,I've managed to drink orange juice a tiny bit of soup and kept it down,I'm hoping the gas pain will ease tonight so I can get some sleep ???? thanks guys for all your kind words ❤

I've had my op done yesterday morning,I'm in so much pain with gas in my chest :-( can't keep nothing down...I just wana go home...please tell me it gets better.

I've got my surgery booked in 5 days time...but I've just come on my period ???? just wondering if any of you ladies had this problem? Can I wear my underwear in the operating room? Bloody typical!!

Its 5.am,in an hour I'll be leaving to go to the hospital... I'm so excited :-) nervs haven't kicked in yet!!

I've not eaten for 2 weeks as I'm on pre op liquid diet so why do I feel like I've got heartburn and this awful pain in my chest? It's 3.45am and everytime I lie down to go to sleep the pain gets worse!! Monday can't come soon enough,operation day!!

I feel a lot better as the days gone on thank god :-) just keep drugging myself hoping that it goes away! Yay sleeve buddies :-) hope you feel better soon! Good luck! Keep me posted on how it goes x

I know you should never ask people how much they weigh,I for one would be angry if I got asked that anywhere else but this site...I feel comfortable enough to talk about it with you guys anyone else feel comfortable enough to share their weight? I'm 5"6 and my heaviest was 21stone but got down to 19 then went to see my doctor to see if I could have a sleeve as I have problems with my back..he said he would send me to see a surgeon! From then I lost a further 14 pounds he then put me through for surgery on the 1st of March then a week ago I had a call to say he has a space for the 16 th and I had to start my pre op diet right away which was 1 pint of milk... Up to 8 yogurts and water for 2 weeks,I'm now a week in and weight is 17st13pounds 1 more week to go :-)

I just had 3 tea spoons of Muller rice yogurt low fat..now I'm stressing that my liver will bloat up...surgery in 5 days!
