I just got my 6th fill today. I told Dr. Scott I didn't have much restriction & he actually gave me .75cc this time totaling 4.75cc. Been on a plateau for a while but lost 9 lbs this month so maybe things are looking up. So how has your weight loss going ? Fine I hope. My wife is getting banded next Thursday so maybe it'll be easier with both of us working together. Been meaning to get to the band wagon but hasn't worked out, maybe next month. Pat ,you are doing great .I'm still at 45lbs lost but I have a fill next Thursday so I hope that'll give me some restriction. I didn't go to the support group this month either but I think I'll go to my wife's at DesPeres where she's getting banded. Good luck & keep in touch. John

Thinking about asking to move my fill date up 4 weeks since they had me 8 weeks between fills. Who should I ask the doc or ancy? Anyway hope to see u at the meeting

Dear Pat, Hope I'm putting this in the right place. I'm doing quite well, surgery went well only 20 min. Got my staples removed today & feeling more comfortable. Stomach still feeling a bit queezie but Nancy said that would probably last another week. Starting semi-hard food on Sat. So maybe that will help. Lost 21 lbs. the 1st. week,couldn't believe it. Will keep in touch John

Hey Lora, I'm notreal sure how a buddy list works but we can be buddies & find out. Dr.de la Torre doesn't require a pre-op diet but I'm watching what I eat to a degree. I figure I'll have the rest of my life to lose the weight so there's no big hurry. Where is Mo. Bariatrics located? Keep in touch.

Welcome Lora, Congrades on your surgery date. I'm also being banded by Dr. De La Torre but at DuPaul hospital in St. Louis on April-23. I met him for the 1st time on Wed. for my consultation. I've never had surgery before but I'm not too worried cause I've had nothing but glowing reports on Dr. De La Torre. Good luck with your surgery & keep intouch. John
