I certainly wished that the weight would fall off like water off a duck--However I really don't have enough money as it is to keep buying new clothes--and I'm not losing at marathon pace or anything. elgrad--it's like the stock market according to Warren Buffett, in it for the long haul I think you have a healthy attitude :confused:
  2. I had 4 magazines, my cellphone and a fully charged iPod. I ended up sharing my room with two snoring men (I'm a girl) Not a happy camper but at least I had something to do all night. I purchased Gas-X previous to the surgery and it's not been opened. Never had a reason to use it.
  3. 7cc's in a 10--I just got the 4th fill this Wednesday, the restriction is better then I've had before (obviously) but nothing to write home about

  7. My insurance pays for 4 fills this first year, I don't know how many after that. I just had my 4th fill today and I checked on the cash price for the rest of this year $325 if I needed Fluro $125 in the office I got the fluro the first time and haven't needed it since.

  10. this for me too However, I find myself getting the really good salmon, nice cut of meat etc. when I go to Whole Foods. I guess, since I don't eat much, I want everything I eat to be really good. does that make sense? it did when I typed it.
  11. My caffeine was diet soda, I'm one of the six Americans that don't drink coffee. I don't really get any caffeine anymore. My surgeons office had no problem with you drinking it after surgery.
  12. I was banded 1/14/09 and also haven't found anything that disagrees with me Love spicy food!

  14. I had mine at 4 weeks out. I would like to make a suggestion to you and anyone else who reads this. Get your fills on a Mon, Tues or Wed--that way if you have any problems, your doctor will be in the office the next day. Mine don't do fills on Thurs or Fri.
  15. Never not even once. I was banded mid-January.
  16. I was never told to only eat for 25-30 minutes. My NP focuses more on the "no drinking for 30 minutes before or after and none with meals"

  19. I didn't have it the night before surgery!! I had Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo (shrimp with garlic) But I had it before I started my preop diet.

  21. I was allowed to shower the day after surgery and "encouraged" them to go away starting then! At my one week doctors appointment she gave me some small pads that were like Goo Gone for the skin they worked great. I'm not allergic, I just didn't like how yukky they were

  23. I am as clueless as I can be right now--whats it look like outside your window? I've no idea what Doha is like. The only thing I can think of is, there are some amazingly cool looking buildings in the downtown area am I right?

  25. I used Williamsburg for excersize last weekend--the outlet malls made for excellent shopping and I bet I walked at least 2 miles :party:
