  1. 6'1", 223 lbs. I started at 371 lbs back in November. Am looking to get to 189, although I'd be happy at 199.
  2. Hunny... Very profound, and very honest statements. I applaud you! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  3. I'll bet it is tough! The crab does taste good though. I've used it in a stir-fry, or even made a low-fat version of Crab Alfredo sauce with it, and used Dreamfields low-carb noodles. It was tasty. Sounds to me like you are doing pretty darn well, despite the circumstances. Perhaps we should all pitch in and send you a big care package of tasty morsels!
  4. What man would say no to that?!?!?!?!:clap2:
  5. 36 waist pants, comfortably. Be under 200. Finish this damn movie. (reshoots are driving me crazy, and post-production is a bitch... I had to do Sci-fi, too many special effects shots) Sell my '51 Plymouth. I just don't have time to work on it anymore Get more acting gigs in some independant films Pay off credit cards. Spend more one-on-one time with my daughter How's that for a list?
  6. I agree. Crock pot recipes make for tender meat, chicken or beef. A nice potroast is usually good too. Slow cooking makes it manageable. Tricia is right too, better cuts are also more palatable.
  7. I told my folks, now they only want to talk about my weight when I call them. "How's your weight" "lost anymore" "what size are you wearing" "what's the doc think" "How's your support group" "bla bla bla" I think it may be just as bad as them not knowing.
  8. Is that Southern talk? I'm Originally from Pittsburgh. We'd have just said "Yunz" :clap2:
  9. Shocking... just shocking... Funny, you crack me up. Good advice, and I have been doing so. You're right, it might be a bit shocking. The other day, a friend of hers saw me for the first time in a year. She was shocked. She said to my wife that she must be happy to have me look like I did when we met... my wife said, "he's NEVER looked like this as long as I have known him!":D I was 285 when we met, 300 when we married, went down to 280 on Atkins, and then UPWARD from there. She's never known me at this weight, heck, I can't remember me at this weight. I haven't been this trim in 23 years, back to my Junior year of High School (P.S. you can use this to calculate my age). Gee, maybe she was a chubby chaser! :omg: BTW, I'll have new pics next week. We took some head shots at filming last weekend, and I should have digital copies this weekend, I'll post good before and after pics then.
  10. Go Cloe Go CLoe GO CLOE!!!:whoo: :whoo: :whoo:
  11. In agree with that, wholeheartedly!
  12. Careful with the fake crab. It is usually very high in sodium and carbs (high in carbs for a meat, that is). The carbs nmay not bother you, but watch out for the sodium content. at least the stuff at my grocers is high, maybe it is different there? Now I'm curious. Let us know the sodium content.
  13. I love this thread. Great stories. Don't forget to mention in your post who will play you in the Hallmark channel version of your life story.
  14. It really wasn't easy when I was at my heaviest, and has yet to make a return voyage. The belly gets in the way, and the unhealthy body reduces the libido! Since I've lost weight, the spirit is there (mine), but the partner isn't as willing as before I got heavy!:noidea: Give it time, right? Ducking before I get hit again...:yield:
  15. Telly, Teresita... Why's everyone hitting me?:help: I'm being good.:heh: As far as you know. BTW, please, don't leave a mark. Would be hard to explain to my wife.
  16. P'nut!!! Shocking!
  17. Get a "magic bullet"! shakes, grinding, blending, awesome appliance!
  18. Ahhhhh... No. Next time, suck the juice off of them. At least it's something.
  19. " No matter where you go... There you are." Buckaroo Banzai
  20. People, people, people... Watch the sex talk. This is... No wait, that's what this thread is about. Oops. OK then, "Sex sex sex sex." How's that for sex talk?
  21. Makes sense. No hot wings either then. there goes your trip to Hooters.
  22. Try cheddar cheese soup. I made some (after surgery when I was on thicker liquids) and added a little salsa to it (mild) spun it in the blender, and topped with a dollup of sour cream. Like going out for mexican... well, not really, but helped the monotony.
  23. Men are pigs. I'm a man... ergo, I'm a pig. If someone cares about you, there are no scars. Maybe you'll hook up with a male bandster! Then you'll both have the scars, and then who gives a crap!
  24. Lemme scream for ya... AAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! :omg:
