Well I failed the water test and couldnt tell if water was sitting or passing through, they even tightened and said I should feel it now and I felt nothing? the water always seems to go down and never stops?

I got my 3rd fill and they said last time I got filled to 1.7 and this time I only had 1.0 in my band. I thought this was really wierd I lost .7 and got worried but they told me it happens sometimes. They only filled me back up to 1.5 seems I cant pass the water test? I cant feel the water going down or stoping...so they said if I can eat alot to come back and they would try again. This kinda sucks cause my wife is losing like 12-17 pounds in 45 days and I lost 4! :cry and men should lose faster...

Got my 2nd fill on tuesday and I can still eat alot! I have about .4 the frirst fill and 1/3 this time making a total 1.7 put in my band now and the doctor said I should be full pretty quick and its not happening. My wife says I should go back next week for another fill but its still sore from the last time. I am following the rules,eating right and exercising. Anyone else had this happen? should I worry? My first fill didnt hurt at all, yesterday I got my second fill and it hurt and is sore. Called and they said that is normal especially when they had to find it and make sure it was right.

I had my first fill 2 weeks ago and I can still eat as much as I want..? I ate a hamburger (homeade) the other day and my wife thinks there must be something wrong..go back tomorrow for another fill.

so glad to hear that! My doc has us on liquids for 48 hours after a fill and soft for 24 hours...find that REALLY hard to do cause I am so hungry! I will be wait til I get on normal food and see what happens. thanks for the great info! Mark

I got my first fill yesterday and my wife did too, my wife feels just like she is suppost too and gets full quick. They had my drink the watter and I told them it went down real slow and even burped once. I went today and had a creamy bowl of Soup with just liquid and never got full and now I am STARVING... I can eat all I want. They told me my band was already pretty tight and I shouldnt be able to eat alot. Well I can, my wife says well lets go back monday and get you another fill, I dont want to be pricked again for a while so it looks like I will just have to wait a while and eat normal? did this happen to anyone else?

I drink crystal light sometimes but to me this Water doesnt even compare cause its so good. plus its easy to take with you. Mark

I always drank cokes and thought that would be hard to quit, but I found a new drink that has 0% everything. Dasani flavored Water is really good and good for you. So far I drink one in the morning, one about 1:30 and then one at night. They fill me up and my doctor told me to keep drinking them they cant hurt anything. Just thought someone might want to try them when replacing cokes.. Mark

I have lost 18lbs in 7 days here, the doctor said as long as I am eating good that men lose weight faster than women and its normal. I was used to taking in tons of fat due to eating what I want everyday (like really anything FRIED). Well you cut that back and your body will take it from your body fat until everything levels out. I am now at 1 lb a day not 3 lbs like I was 4 days ago.

I cheat most of the time...seems other women just pop in my head! What is fun is if there is a person flirting with you but you know you wouldnt cross the line, then take it out on your partner!

My wife and I were banded on the 27th! She went in at 3:00pm and I went in at 6:00pm. I went in and had my IV put in at 9 in the morning and the rest of the time sat with family. I was really nervouse but everyone at the hospital was great. I got out about 9:00 that night and was half awake and the first thing I did was go to the bathroom and then they took out my IV and had me answer a few questions and then I was in the car headed home. Went to bed that night and woke up around 2:00am and then realized I was not getting out of bed by my self. I called my wifes brother in the next room and he came in and simply pulled me up. Getting back in bed was the same way I had to have him lay me back. The next day I was sore but better. Every day got better and I went for short walks. Friday night was the last day I took pain pills due to them not helping with soreness. I am back at work today and about 85% back to normal. I am a little light headed everynow and then. I have gone from 295 to 290 surgury day to 279 today. Feels great to come back to work and everyone is like..you lost some weight you can see it in your face! Well tomorrow my wife and I are going to get banded. Dr Wellborn in Little Rock is doing it and we have herd really good things about him. My wife is set up at 9:00 am and I am at 11 am. We have to go get blood work done today and pay for everything ...:faint:.... I think thats the hardest part. I am getting nervouse now, really cause I have never been in the hospital for anything.
