    Went to Baptist today for pre-op workup for banding surgery scheduled for February 5, 2008 by Dr. Fernandez. Going through the motions and admitedly a little scared, a little nervous, and some apprehensions attached. Not really sure why. Speaking for myself, I can not begin to know others true thoughts or feelings about why they ahave opted for surgery, I only know this roller coaster, the perpetual cycle of weight loss, weight gain needs to end. I am looking forward to having a tool that will show no sympathy for the pychological need to eat. As I begin my journey of weight loss I look forward to the journey of self discovery.
