Hello all, I haven't been on the forum for awhile and I had forgotten how uplifting the forum is !!Especially Belladona23 I too have lost 40 lbs.My anniversary is 2/26/08.I hoped to have lost a lot more by now but am taking predisone that slows me down. Hello all, Jpet I understand how you feel!!I now have 5.6 cc's in my 10cc band .I cannot eat very much at all until I start PB ing or throwing up. Iam not feeling hungry at all. At first after this fill I thought maybe I was too tight,but now I believe I'm where I need to be. Please if any of you have an opinion about this tell me. I get a little confused about all this jaunderwood:confused2:

Hello all, I too am a nurse. I'm from Kentucky. Most of my nursing career has been in Public Health.I worked as a Clinical Director of a county health department for 22 years I retired last year. I like this post . Nurses unite!!! I had my surgery on Feb. 26 2008. I've only lost 25 lbs.I lose so slowly. I try to exercise most days of the week.I've joined a gym and I walk.I love my band even though I wish I would lose faster, Jaunderwood

My Doc said I have a "knotty" stomach that makes it difficult to tell where the port is!! jaunderwood

I went to my Dr. today to get a fill. He couldn't find my port and I have to go for flouro tomorrow,but the worse part is I haven"t loss any weight for 5 weeks!! Iwas so disappointed because I have been eating right and exercising. Jaunderwood

Hello all, I too believe everyone is different about how much it takes to feel full. I find I'm never hungry but I do want several cups of coffee a day!! I use creamer in my coffee and I wonder if that's keeping me from only losing a pound a week!! jaunderwood:lol:

Hello all, I had my first fill today. My Doc only put in.3cc!! He said that was enough!!I had the fill by floroscopy. Is that possible to need only .3cc in my band? Some of you veterans what do you think? jaunderwood

Hello all, I went to my doc today for my 1st fill!! After trying 2 or 3 times he decide to do it under fluoroscope I told him I have a sore spot in my stomach where the port is.Is that normal? Ihave an appt on Monday to get the fill at the hospital. jaunderwood

Hello all, I was banded on the 26th and I'm feeling the same pain. Mine is left of my belly button. All of you describe it perfectly. It makes you want to hold your stomach,. I said something to my doc about it and he didn't act like it was anything.I wish it would go away. Ja underwood:lol:

Hello busywoman, I see no problem in going back to work in one week. I could have.I saw my doctor yesterday and he said I could have gotten on the treadmill the day after surgery!! Good luck jaunderwood:lol:

Hi all, The same thing happened to me .I was banded on the 26th and when I got home I had gained 10 lbs.!!!!I still have only lost 5lbs ,but I figure if I stsy compliant I will lose.But is this normal.Istill feel really swollen jaunderwood

Hello all, I have not had any pain meds today ,but have a lot of indigestion. I feel like it's trapped inside of me and won't come out.Is that normal? I also have no appetite and I can only eat pudding or applesauce coffe juice and water. I know I'm not getting enough protein but my doctor said to concentrateon the liquids.
