I live in Hodgenville and I too am so excited!!I've been at this process for over a year now. Had some health problems along the way that slowed everything. I've had an appt. with Dr. Kaza and he's very informative .Write down all your questions The bariactric nurse (Aoril) is very helpful also.Hope to hear from you soon Do you have insurance or Passport? Helo Shana, I too have considerd other docs. Where did you see the post about the bad experience . I talked to the office today and the nurse told me he has done 300 lap bands and 25 in Etown.They're going to submit to insurance next week. I have Humana insurance and they have told me they say yes or no in 48 hours. I sure hope that's correct. Jaunderwood

Hi Mom007, I too feel like I should eat everything but then I think this is crazy as I eat more!!! I hope to get my date soon.Of course I don't have official approval yet but everyone says there shouldn't be a problem since I have so many health problems.I just want it to be official!! Hi palerider, I have been trying to do research on him. He went to medical school in New York and graduated in 1997.He has had no lawsuits against him.I have all my prep there.I hate to start all over again.Thanks for your input. jaunderwood

I want to have the lap band surgery I've had all the prerequists for surgery.My case has not been submitted to the insurance yet.We're waiting on a letter from one of my doctors!! Any info would be appreciated. jaunderwood

Hello all, Icalled my doctor's office for the 3rd time this week. She was in a meeting but sent me word that she hasn't forgotten about me and she's still working on it!! I hope I get to talk to her soon. I'm more at peace today and I know it will all work out. I continue to seek your prayers. I am praying for all those that have asked. jaunderwood

Hello all of you, I need your prayers!! I called my doctor's office to find out the status of my surgery. The nurse was with a patient and couldn't take my call. She hasn't called me back and I'm so nervous about it. I usually don't get this way but this is soooo important. jaunderwood

Hi everyone, I too hope to have my surgery.My birthday is March 10th!! I hope to have it before then!! It's been a long process but it's worth the wait I have a BMIof 42 and several co morbidities plus I've had the 6 mo. required nutritional counseling.I have Humana insurance. I have my 6mo. nutrtiional counseling done.I also have had my sleep study done and all the other prerequistites done .Now I'm just waiting on a letter from one of my doctors.
