  1. Food for work tomorrow. Forgot I also have the oats.
  2. Inspired by this thread. And as to be expected people say thank you. So there is someone giving advice. A lot of people write about their problems and ask for advice. Sometimes they only want to rant, but a lot of the time they ask for advice. And usually they get it. So when we look at the thread I linked in the first line I see users saying "thank you" and "great tips" etc. and that is all fine and we see it in many threads where advice is given. "Oh, great advice, I'm going to try this!" and "Thank you, sounds great" etc. and this is of course the polite way to respond. However, I usually don't see someone really giving feedback about what worked or what didn't work. Someone might say that plain water is hard to drink. Makes him gag, especially when it's at room temperature. So someone suggests ice cold water, others suggest hot tee, another might suggest an air up bottle and so on. But there almost never seems to be any feedback about what worked or (maybe even more important!) what didn't work for them. Am I just not seeing this because I look at the wrong threads? Or do users really don't give feedback e. g. a few weeks later?
  3. Do you know how many calories you're saving by eating healthier? I don't know how much you moved around before lockdown but it sounds like you're not in a deficit at the moment.
  4. It's oats cooked in the microwave with soy milk, chia seeds, raisins, apples and a protein powder. Add cinnamon and almond butter after cooking. I have to say I liked it more without the powder but it was ok.
  5. Pimped it up with more raisins, apples, cinnamon and almond butter and divided into two portions. It tastes ok. Will take the leftovers with me to work tomorrow.
  6. Tried the oatmeal with apple pie protein powder. Tasted mediocre at best. Without the powder it tasted better. Maybe I'll try again with vanilla powder and less of it than today. Best tasting protein oatmeal is vanilla powder with banana and peanut butter IMO.
  7. Can you see a gastroenterologist or bariatric surgeon about this? It's just a guess but it might explain your problems.
  8. Was bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) ever taken into consideration? Just asking because you said it was better after one course of antibiotics.
  9. Weird. Do any of these foods make it worse? Or did the omitting of certain foods change anything at all?
  10. Did you cut out dairy completely or did you eat lactose free dairy? What about the meats you eat and fats?
  11. What did you eliminate? And what do you typically eat?
  12. Interesting video. Thanks for posting.
  13. Warm apple cinnamon oat meal. Without protein powder.
  14. That corn looks amazing. Never seen purple corn, only purple potatoes.
  15. If your insurance has approved you're already on your way. It's one thing you don't have to worry about anymore.
  16. If weight loss is the reason I'm with sillykitty. It's too early. Be patient. With one or two meals a day maximum within a 4 h eating window you won't be able to get the nutrients in you need.
  17. Well, what are your desired results when it comes to fasting?
  18. Maybe I'm not getting your question right but what foods shouldn't a pouch being able to handle in theory? Like very stringy stuff?
  19. 4 weeks after surgery it was allowed. I could tolerate raw vegetables without problems. Sometimes better than cooked.
  20. Mushrooms, red onions, tomato sauce, veggie minced meat, mixed beans and chickpeas, peanut butter, ras el hanout. Toasted flat bread.
  21. For some reason I expected the board brimming with posts because people are, well... bored. However, the board seems more quiet these days.
  22. I love the flavors of ginger, coconut milk, peanut butter and sweet chili sauce. Oh, and sea weed.
  23. The weather is good. Not too cold, very sunny. It's supposed to get warm again next week. And I hate it. That kind of weather means too many people outside to keep a distance which means that I need to reschedule my outside time to the early morning. Hopefully many people will be too busy or too sleepy in the early morning to be outside to run. Unfortunately I'm not a morning person but that's Corona life.
