I'm not really sure what people are referring to or looking for when they say "bariatric" (app, cookbook, whatever else) - however, if you're looking for an app that tracks nutrition: Cronometer is all you need.

I can assure you, there is no deadline. Eat less calories than your body needs and you're going to lose weight, even years out.
I recently lost about 2 kg because we had a stressful time at work and I ate less than I usually do. It's likely that I'm going to gain that back when things will be a bit slower again but for me it's proof that I can lose weight by eating less even several years out, be it intentional or not..

That was basically the road I took in the end. And don't believe that nonsense that you stop losing weight after a year ("honeymoon phase") or so. It's simply not true. In fact it's IMO a blatant lie.

I think this belongs in the category "True food Crimes": microwaved potatoes, partly with green pesto and topped with cashewsan, partly with sate sauce. Red bell pepper, green beens and mushrooms fried in the oil that the vegan filet was fried in.

The board closed a while ago. It never seemed to have much traffic.
With more and more people getting WLS I'd like to know where people are gathering. Considering the amount of people getting WLS places like BP or Reddit don't have much traffic as well.

It tasted really good. Leftovers for tomorrow evening (I'm on call anyway) and three portions of plain rice for freezing.
