Help! I was sleeved on Monday 5/2 and have had diarrhea the past 2 days. I've read that Constipation is normal due to all the Protein we take in, but why am I having this? Is it normal??

@@drew's mom congrats! I have some pain on my left side too. Probably just bruised from surgery. Keep on sipping and try Soup and yogurt! Popsicles are good too! Good luck !

It's a secret group. Have to send a friend request to the admin then she adds you to the group and deletes your friend request. I don't put it out on social media but this group has been great! I had surgery on 5/2
I had my surgery in 5/2 and am doing great! Hardly any pain. Just some gas which walking helps. No regrets!

I had my surgery on Monday 5/2!! I am so excited to be on the losers bench! My surgery went well with no complications. Stayed one night in the hospital and had the best care. Came home Tuesday afternoon with prescription for Tylenol with codeine and an anti nausea medication. I took them up to last night. Stopped because was getting a headache. Haven't needed the pain meds. Walking has helped with the gas bubbles. Thankfully no shoulder pains like I read pre op. I'm on full liquids until 5/11 when I see my surgeon for my follow up. I am having some diarrhea off n on. Not happy about that. Working on getting in my Water and Protein. Cream of chicken Soup made with 1% milk for extra protein has been delicious! I have absolutely no regrets! Any suggestions on what I can eat on this stage is greatly appreciated!

@@UalreadyKnow where did you get the cinnamon bun flavor protein? Sounds great for my coffee. With approval from my surgeon and NUT, I drink 2 scoops of my Protein powder mixed with my Decaf coffee in the morning. It gets me going and gives me 50gms of protein to start my day! (For this purpose,I choose cinnamon bun flavored protein) then I usually eat as normal (low carb-high protein) or sip on an Isopure throughout the day. I'm 8 months out and 127 lbs down! Good luck

I am having my sleeve surgery on Monday May 2nd at Atlanticare in New Jersey. Dr Samir Patel.
I'm so ready for this. I've been doing the yo yo dieting thing all my adult life.
It hasn't hit me yet, guess it will when I'm at the hospital.
Looking forward to living a healthier life.
Going to be fit and fabulous!

@Fabfemale. I'm nervous about the anesthesia because I always get really sick but I'm hoping and praying for the best this time around. My pre-op has not been bad but I still feel hungry how about you?

@@shamale I'm doing good. Getting nervous. But ready. Don't worry about the anesthesia. Just let them know about getting sick and they can give you something. It will be fine!
