Glad I'm not the only one! I was just more scared that drinking too much would cause my sleeve to stretch.

It's been 2 weeks since I got the surgery and I don't feel like I got it? I don't get full with Water and my diet consists of that and yogurt and I don't even drink the yogurt because I'm not a fan. So I can drink water all day and it's like I never even got surgery. I'm scared that the surgery failed. Like if for some reason they didn't do it right and I still have a large stomach.

Doctor said 3 months out was fine for alcohol. But occasionally of course.

I know. I'm just wondering why. I Dont even know how to delete a post? Just joined 2 days ago.

Why would it bring out the worst in people? It's an honest question plus we are all adults here. I don't see how this will pose a problem. I'm an occasional alcohol drinker and just want to know people's experiences.

I'll have to try them!

I cried! You should ask. Are you eating lemons now?
-
Same here?! Did your doctor tell you no lemons too??
-
When did you first have it after surgery? What do you drink? How often? Or did you give it up completely?

My nutritionist said I can't have lime, oranges, or anything acidic for a couple of months. I'm currently 2 weeks sleeved and I just can't have Water alone. I mean I can but I'm a big water with lime kind of person. I have Gatorade so any drinks that you recommend that I can drink? Did your doctors approve of lime water?

I guess I'm saying that I don't feel the full feeling, not that I miss it but I don't want to over eat and the surgery is suppose to restrict it. So I can learn what my new portions are.

That's exactly what I do! I question if the surgeon even did anything at all! But I guess I just have to focus on getting through it and hope that it will come soon.

I guess I was just wondering if she will eventually gain weight again. I know I wouldn't want to do that as I don't want to go through all this journey just to gain weight again.

My doctor had me on 1 week of only liquids. Then 3 weeks of full liquids. So I don't get to eat Purée foods until Feb. 8! So looking forward to it.

I'm 2 weeks out! Do you remember about when you started to feel it? I think I feel it a little more now but still not like everyone says .

I got my sleeve on January 13th, a friend and I got it on the same day. Anyways we are on the liquid stage and I just don't get full. She says with a couple of spoon fulls she feels like she ate a huge burger. I, on the other hand, just don't feel full?! I feel like the surgery failed and I hate it. How am I suppose to learn how much to eat if I don't have that restriction everyone gets? Has anyone else experienced this? Please help! I don't want to have to go through all this for nothing. I don't want to stretch my sleeve but so far all I eat is yogurt, Water, and occasionally some soggy cereal!

Hello! So I got sleeved on January 13th. I am currently 26lbs down (yay!) Anyways, my sister got sleeved about a year ago and now eats everything! Like I'm saying she eats pizza, coke, chips everything that she ate before (in smaller portions of course) she weighed 187 and now weighs 137. She only followed the diet for 3 months before started eating everything. She is still loosing weight. I guess my question is when did you start eating everything and have you gained any weight because of it? How long have you had the sleeve surgery? And how long should we follow the diet for before beginning to eat other things?

This is my 5th week and I've lost 34lbs so far. For the past week I've been at the same weight. Is this normal? I started solid foods so maybe that's the reason? I don't want to only loose 34lbs and that be the end of the road for me. I still need a lot more to loose.
