Dude...if you're still succumbing to peer pressure at the age of 40...you have more issues than just needing weight loss surgery. Get a backbone, stay off the drugs, get some healthier/more mature friends and grow up already for your children's sake. At your age and as a parent, there are plenty of ways to "unwind" without doing cocaine.

Congrats! My turn is Friday and I also have GERD...just hoping for the best. Let us know how you're doing afterwards!

Well it can affect your heart...not sure I'd want to take a chance going into surgery about that but your doctors may not allow it anyway so soon before surgery but they would definitely be the ones to ask.

I was scheduled to start my liquid diet today, but I started yesterday (monday, new week, new start) and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Now I know I'm only on day 2 but my stomach has been full of Protein that I don't even want food when I see it...I have lots of different things that fall in the category and am surprised how it's going so far!!!

I'm having the sleeve on June 20th. Started my 2 week pre-op liquid diet this morning. It's getting so close. I get nauseous when I think about it! Lol

I'll also be getting sleeved June 17th! At my first visit last December, the 6 month supervised period seemed like such a long time...and now that I'm less than 2 weeks away from surgery - I can't believe it went so fast!

I just got my surgery date of June 17, 2016 to be sleeved, after a very long process. Now I am getting nervous, am I CRAZY?

I know that my alcohol intake will change dramatically but if I do a little Coke or smoke some weed, how will this effect my new stomach and my tolerance. Best most honest tip I have to offer is this; sleep much. If you keep really busy during the day then make your bed time early as you can, you will do better (or at least it helped me). When you wake up, you will be so hungry that the liquid diet will taste awesome and fill you up.

How come when women get breast implants no one asks....why don't you just grow them the natural way?!?
