Clayton here...surgery next Friday the 17th in Raleigh.

Well it can affect your heart...not sure I'd want to take a chance going into surgery about that but your doctors may not allow it anyway so soon before surgery but they would definitely be the ones to ask.

I have surgery next Friday but I'm more worried about the general anesthesia I think more than anything else but I keep telling myself all will go well!

I start my full liquid diet Friday for a week (doing the shakes, bars and lean and green meal up until this Thursday night)...it's going to be hard I know but going to try to do my best!

I would do a liquid diet until weigh-in on Wednesday (Protein shakes and clear liquids). Good luck!

Dude...if you're still succumbing to peer pressure at the age of 40...you have more issues than just needing weight loss surgery. Get a backbone, stay off the drugs, get some healthier/more mature friends and grow up already for your children's sake. At your age and as a parent, there are plenty of ways to "unwind" without doing cocaine.

Sorry you're going through this. I will say though, nothing in life is free - whether you pay by $$$, a crappy program or your own frustration...a price will be paid one way or another in the end.
