I use it too and it was recommended also .I never had any problem

I did Opti Fast before surgery. I am 3 weeks post op and puree stage right now

I do not remember the last time I was under 200 lbs. I am 3 weeks post op and 5 weeks of Opti Fast. I have been stalled for a week. What a feeling to reach my frst goal. Thinner tastes good !!!

I also dealt with this. Mine feels like it was frozen and never went back to normal. It is slowly going away. Annoying feeling but not major pain. My nurse explained it is sometimes caused by the position you were in during surgery and to not worry about it

I was told to take Milk of magnesia by the doctor and nothing else .

I actually gained 6 lbs in the hospital. Just came home yesterday

I will stay 1 night . We had a book given to me to explain everything I can eat after surgery and for how long . 9 days to go

I'm also getting my surgery on Feb.10th. I started a liquid diet (opti-fast shakes) on January 6th. I have a liver disease and have to shrink it quite a bit. I have 10 days to go. It has been a difficult time but doable. Tell yourself it is nothing to compare all the crazy diets you've been through and this time it will work. Best of luck and be confident that you can do this.

Why do we have to drink decaf tea and coffee before and after surgery?

I am 3 weeks into Opti Fast to reduce my liver before surgery. My surgery is FEB. 10. Anyone out there had the same problem? Did the surgery help?

I have 5 weeks of Opti Fast and starting my third week. It will work fine. Some days are harder than others but you can do it. Keep busy , drink a lot And keep telling yourself you can do it. I actuaally find it easier than I thought
