Papaya chewable tablets helps me. I get them at a supplement store.

Bariatric Advantage lemon Calcium citrate chewy bites are incredibly good but you have to take 6 per day as they only have 250 mg.

I am noticing that I am losing weight disproportionately. My stomach was big before surgery but seemed proportionate. Now it is really bothering me because it seems like I should have a flat belly at my current weight.

I have the Fitbit charge HR but seldom wear it because it makes my wrist burn. If not for that, I found it very useful.

This is an old thread but I'm wondering if anyone else has tried it? I'm still 50 lbs overweight and have only done walking since surgery last June. I'd like to know how a beginner would fare and if it's the kind of thing where you are competing with young perfect body types?

My advice would be to write down all your health issues (gerd, diabetes, history of kidney stones, arthritis, etc ) and research the better procedure for each. In my case it was split between the sleeve and RNY. I would have gone with the sleeve but after further testing they found Barrett's cells so I had to go with RNY. Having said that, I seem to be able to eat anything (4 months out) and have had no complications so I'm happy with my decision.

Wow - that's great! I'm losing more slowly, 48 pounds since surgery.

I asked the plastic surgeon who gave a presentation to my support group this exact question. She said the rate of loss does not make a difference but moisturizing might. Otherwise,as already mentioned, factors such as age, genetics, the amount of time you have been overweight, and the number of times your skin has been stretched and retracted will make a difference.

I can relate. I'm down 80 pounds from my highest weight but am still clinically obese. I can really notice the weight loss now but at the same time I feel like I notice my fat even more. It's so weird to be seeing two things at once if that makes sense.

Collagevideo (online) has a great selection and you can watch clips. Sometimes I select what I want and then shop around for the best price on other sites. I still love the Jane Fonda tapes - they are dance moves, easy to follow and most are low impact. I like her low impact workout and favorite fat burners. I also like Kathy Smith's functionally fit video.

Anybody try Mexican food post on?

I've eaten it about once a week since I started on solids. Spicy food doesn't bother me. Unfortunately there are no decent Mexican restaurants where I live so I have to make it myself.
