This post is just for rambling lol. I will be seventh months post op on the 12th. I have most 77 pounds to date and still see myself on a good day in my presurgery weight. I have been in a stall for about three weeks or so which has me a little bumped out but I know this will pass. One area that I am week on is exercise which is funny because I was a fitness instructor for ten years when I weighed over 250 pounds, go figure. Today I decided that I was going to change up my routine. Instead of packing my Breakfast and lunch I decided to stop for a cup of coffee (only have that on the weekends). Ordered some breakfast from a diner and planning to go out for a salad a lunch. I am feeling like a real rebel and renegade today. I will be eating on this breakfast for the next three mornings.
As time goes on you begin to slip into a good groove of what a "normal day" is and how to make adjustments and changes when needed. This is a lifestyle change and one must settle down and get comfortable with who you are and what a glorious gift of life that you have given yourself. Its not the complements from others or the "OMG you look great" comments that make me smile, its the fact that each day when I look at myself I prove to myself that I am worth it.

Okay so can I through in the latest People magazine. How "real" women lost over 100 lbs. hmm thought I was a real woman, had a cycle, had two kids, five miscarriages and now going through menopause. I must have missed something on the road to "real" womanhood.

Why would she bring these in here? Sitting in my office in a cold sweat trying not to head back down the hall. Okay 75 pounds already

I lost a dear friend some years back when she had wls and it took a long time before she told me that her therapist said that I was toxic to her. I couldn't figure out why and I still don't understand. It was not that I treated her any different she was upset with me for not entertaining wls.

Love this because I have now come to appreciate that it's not me but the stool and since I have always had issues in that area it is worse now. A good poo is beneficial in many ways

I had a cathartic day today saying goodbye to the old and hello to the new me.
Today I went through every drawer and cupboard and
threw out/donated all my 'before' clothes (apart from 1 top and trousers to keep as a reminder).
It's such a great feeling getting rid of those clothes I use to hide behind.
Now it's time for more shopping!
Great job! I finally decided to buy some clothes that fit. Down from a 24-26 to a 14-16. I not only bought new clothes but changed my style. My problem is that I am hesitant to wear them. My daughters came over and took all of my work clothes so that now I have to wear the new ones lol. Keep up the good work.
I was a "super healthy" fat person until surgery changed my life. Was it worth it?
