No one knows of my WLS except my partner..,no family and not even my teenage son or friends. I've had a lot of health problems so my job, friends and son think I had surgery for GERD, which is very similar. And yep I lied right along with it....I'm one week post surgery and my entire family including parents don't have a clue,,,,didn't even know I was in the hospital or having surgery at all, they live 2 hrs away! Everyone knows I'm constantly dieting and even joined the biggest loser at work....I won 4 yrs ago but guess who is about to win again?!?!?! My surgery.... My business! I've never done anything for myself...Only told my partner because he's went to every class and dr appt with me cause I would need a ride to and from the hospital. Proud of myself I could do this on my own and not allow the entire Jerry Springer town to indulge! Wait until they see me at the family reunion this summer since I didn't go last year!!!

Orange and Peach Mango are my favs. Yes the flavor is strong but really good with lots of ice water. I've added it to flavored Vitamin Water too and it works....or used it to make my own Popsicles too. For 16 grams of protein and not a normal protein shake, I will make it work! So tired of the chalky shakes lol

Thanks so much about adding the premier shakes with milk! I have two cases of theses shakes left from pre surgery and after surgery they are way too sweet!!! Oddly I found them on EBay cheaper than Costco with free shipping so they are keepers now!

Have you tried Liquacel? Had it in the hospital and now I'm addicted...you just add it to water and its 16 grams of protein. It's hard to find...target pharmacy can special order it for you or its on Amazon....so good!

Thanks all! Today is exactly one week from surgery and after leaving the hospital I actually gained weight...I was thinking 7 lbs of gas! I was miserable! But I've released all of that and down 2 lbs from pre surgery weight. I was just nervous something was wrong even though I'm following everything I'm supposed to be doing. Thanks for calming my nerves!!!

How long did it take after surgery to start seeing some weight loss?

Just had surgery 4 days...help! Not hungry at all but the swelling/bloating and gas is painful...I figure there's no room for food because of all the gas which may be why I'm not hungry? I'm following all protein and fluid requirements and pureed foods, forcing myself to eat. No weight loss seen, actually gained due to the gas!!! How do you get rid of this swollen stomach from gas?
