  1. It dissolves in the mouth... I will give it a try again
  2. @@Daisee68 Thank you for the tip definitely appreciate it! Yes that's what I am taking, maybe it's because it's an off brand or something? I just spent 4 days in hospital with IV I think I am pretty well hydrated but still doesn't seem to help much. It did at the hospital when they injected into IV at least for few hours.
  3. @ I decided I am going to do it myself, dis it at the hospital to make sure I do it right. I plan to go back to work on Tuesday and visiting nurses wouldn't be able to do this for me before work. I am feeling pretty weak and very nauseous which is the worst. They gave me meds for nausea but I am not sure if they are helping much... Struggle is real...
  4. @@Kathy812 Thank you, I need the prayers, still in the hospital, may be released tomorrow. I learned to pack my wound today which is 6.5 cm deep. Really weird and painful experience but needs to be done everyday to have the wound heal from inside out. It's amazing what curveballs life throws at us, sure hope there is no more around the corner.
  5. @wantobe Thank you and me too! I feel like I am finally going to be on my road to recovery.
  6. Hi all, I will be 3 weeks post op on Friday but ended up admired back into hospital... I guess I am the lucky one to develop a complication. They take real good care of me at the hospital. I just had some blended fish for lunch ( I know it doesn't sound most appetizing) but it was prepared so good I actually enjoyed it! That was the highlight of my day lol How is everyone else doing?
  7. My whole 2nd week after surgery I was complaining that I am so exhausted, and people say it's normal but I felt beyond exhausted and was wondering how in the world will I be able to do anything and go back to work feeling that way... Then this whole thing went down.. I have to say as soon as they opened me and drained it (obviously I'm on pain meds and antibiotics and it still keeps draining) but I already feel like o have energy. I am in the hospital but have been doing laps and it's like night and day with how I felt before I came in to the ER last night. My surgeon's PA actually apologized to me because she didn't believe me that my pain and well being was really that bad... I guess there are patients that just can't tolerate a bit of pain or whatever so that want to come in for any little thing... But now seeing how serious my condition was she apologized and I appreciated it. But lesson learned, always ask for copy of your reports like cat scans so you can read it for yourself because apparently some doctors do not know how to read and you get mis diagnosed... Always have to look out for yourself.
  8. Happy birthday! And have fun clothes shopping!
  9. One of the things that encouraged me to push myself to do revision from and to bypass is my current job I have a position where I interact with outside executive customers and internally with my company executives so I always have to be professional. I feel being this big as much as I try I still don't look as "clean and sharp" and the confidence goes along with that. Plus buying all the plus size clothing is just way too much, traveling is a pain because seats are small, belts don't fit etc. I love this job, it's very stressful and demanding but it's a very good opportunity for me to move up eventually. I can see myself being so much better at once I lose the weight.
  10. Thank you everyone.. I'm on antibiotics and my Abcess is draining hopefully on the road to recovery. Still in hospital not sure if I will stay here another night or not but for now I am here until I talk to the dr.
  11. @@LisaMergs That's awesome girl! Hopefully at 9 weeks I will have gone down a size or 2 as well!
  12. @@sgrennan Thanks I found out why I had so much pain with mine. I developed an Abcess having it now being taken care of at the hospital
  13. Update: I was cut open and drained lots of that abscess.... Took a while to get everything out and it was so unpleasant stinky and painful at times even though they numbed me. Staying overnight for observation. I am already slightly relieved. Hopefully it will be better from now on! Thanks all for prayers and support!
  14. No kidding I knew I liked him for a reason!
  15. Ok.. I gotta vent... I am so furious right now! I had my surgery at a hospital an hour away because this surgeon is awesome. On Sunday when I wasn't feeling well we decided to go to ER by our house...that's where I found out I have seroma after a cat scan. I was still feeling very crappy since then went to my surgeon, they obtained a copy of cat scan report from the ER and guess what... No seroma! But I have a huge Abcess!OMG! Really! So now we are on the way to the hospital where I had surgery to the ER to have my surgeon open me up and drain the Abcess after which I will start antibiotics. Also going to get Doppler on my leg to make sure I am not forming a blood clot... Wow really really struggling right now but now they all can see I am not crazy, I am miserable for a reason! Please pray for me!
  16. Well...I thought I was doing better emotionally... Went to bed... Looked at the seroma that I have to deal with now and had another melt down :/ I am really struggling right now :/
  17. I had a tread on emotions as well, I am 2 weeks post op and have been struggling with this as well, it's all of the hormones that are being released after surgery through fat loss and all of the changes we are going through. I had few days when I cried for no reason either.. It gets better hang in there
  18. Isn't ricotta bake more of a regular food than puréed food? I have seen it but didn't try it since j didn't honk it would be ok for this phase.
  19. @@AmysShrinking I just sent you fB request as well
  20. @@AmysShrinking Is it a secret bypass group that my friends can't see I am in it?
  21. I am the opposite, I get # of notifications but when I go to check them it's blank and some kind of error.
  22. I got ours at target after I was struggling with constipation and it really is a helpful thing.
  23. Sorry you are not feeling well, most likely it's because you need to have BM. You can take milk of magnesia it was approved by my surgeon. I also did diluted 100% prune juice to help things move. Trust me even with liquids (it won't be solid by any means so be careful not to confuse it for gas if you do take something to help you to) you will have BM looks like you are constipated. You will feel so much better after you have BM !
  24. @@Daisee68 Wow that's scary! Glad you stayed on top of it. For sure we know our bodies and can definitely tell that something is not right. They gave me some antibiotics to take if I want to just in case it could be a bacterial infection (it might not do anything for it) related but I decided to wait and talk to my surgeon first tomorrow before I do anything. I just sent a note to work that I am not coming in tomorrow and will let them know once I have more info. The way I feel I need few more weeks off but because nature of my work I just can't do that but hopefully sometime this week.
