PatchMD is a life saver for me! Hate taking anything, the doctor told me to try them. I have been on them for a year now and my blood work is perfect.

I workout almost everyday, it depends on how busy my weekend is. Three days a week I attend classes at my gym, I do an hour of cardio and an hour of weight lifting . The rest of the days I try and do 30-60 minutes of cardio or walking and sometimes hiking.

11 months out, I take 2 duralax at nighttime and a Fiber supplement to my drink or yogurt everyday. It's routine just like taking Vitamins everyday

As I've posted in the "Official: FitBit thread" I do not like FitBits nor Jawbone UP Move. Both under-report my daily steps by 20-30% or more. I recently tried a Misfit Shine & Misfit Flash & am very happy with them. They tend to be within 2-4% of actual, counted, steps.
Thanks for the info, I'll check it out

Bed Bath and Beyond if you can afford it and Walmart if you can't. The only negative with my Walmart pad is that I can feel the coils/cords through my sheets. My sister has the BBB ones and you don't feel them. But I paid $45 and she paid $200. I can live with feeling a cord now and then.I second the heated mattress pad...it's even better than an electric blanket. We have one for each of our beds but I can't find them since our move to this area. It's been getting into the 40s here and raining, I've been freezing all day and all night. I used to sleep in a tank and panties year round, now I'm in a thermal top, flannel bottoms and rag wool socks. Sexy, right? Oh, and the dog on my feet, too. And still cold.
If I don't find that heated pad in a week or so, I'm buying a new one. We only have radiator heat and the one in our bedroom is not cutting it without my blubber layer keeping me warm

I found mine at BB&B king size on sale for $149, as I'm carrying through the store I noticed the same one on clearance for $75. I asked why and they said the box was dented and couldn't put it on the shelf with the others. I was hesitate but bought it anyway, and it works perfectly!! I was so excited I got such a good deal

Yes, got it 4 weeks ago at Kohls. Got the Fitbit Alta, was $99.99 but I had kohls cash so I only paid $69.99. It totally motivates me to move and I've exercised more in the past 4 weeks than I have in the first 6 months after my surgery combined.
I use all the features and have it connected to my fitness pal so it tracks my calories in and out. Also tracks my Water, steps, and sleep patterns. I highly recommend

I'm considering buying a Fitbit . What do you like about it the most?. Do you use all the features it offers? Where did you buy yours and how much was it?

I love mine, I even use it for an alarm, it vibrates to wake me up. During the day, if I have less than 250 steps in an hour, it will vibrate to remind me to move. I work in an office and sometimes I do forget.
My goal is 10,000 a day.
I bought my Alta at Target. It was $129.00 and it's blue.
That's the price I found too on Amazon. I will definitely love the reminder to move. I also have a desk job and get so involved sometimes then realize I've haven't moved for hours!!

I'm freezing all the time! My dual control mattress pad was my best investment ever! sleep is so important to me and there is nothing like climbing under a down comforter onto nice heated sheets ❤️. I use an electric throw while watching tv. And just bought new sweaters that I wear over camis. My hands are another issue, almost always like ice cubes, I find myself sitting on them at work. Doesn't make for easy accounting work . I'll have to look for gloves with the fingers cut out

11 months post op, and I have used Vitamin Patches from day one. My labs are perfect. They are a real live saver for me , because I hate taking pills and would probably would have stop taking them at some point.

I think the question was "when did u guys start having noodles" I answered never because I have not started to eat noodles. It's a carb I choose not to eat. I didn't say I never eat carbs. I track everything I eat in myfitnesspal and try to keep it under 60g of carbs in a day. Has it ever gone over? Hell yeah , I've had birthday cake.
Carbs=
That is truly my face when I think of carbs (bad carbs)
