Hey! I had mine 4 days ago.... Feeling good... But the gas is horrible!! Finally passing it, and can yawn without hurting! I am also sleeping reclined... Onto the next step...

I'm in Dearborn sleeved on 6/25/12 @ Barix Clinics in Ypsilanti by Dr. Jamokay Taylor he not only is fine as wine in the summer time but is an awesome surgeon with impeccable bedside manners.

I am scheduled for March 9th I figure we may lose some hair but it comes back, and we may have excess skin but I would rather have that than be unhealthy and sick from being fat the rest of my life. Plus if the skin really bothers you, you could always get surgery to have it removed later. Don't worry, I at least am worried about the same things but this is going to be a good thing.

Okay. To make it a little easier, I made a Facebook page for us, that way we can follow each other's progress, workouts, recipes, etc. if you wanna be added let me know.

Hi everyone! I'm really new here but already loving all the info and support.
I just got confirmation today that my surgery will be on 20th Feb! I've got 50kg/110lb to loose, So excited to start this new chapter pre-op tests on the 13th- wish me luck!

Getting my sleeve today. Woot woot!

Count me in! I'm the old one in the group at 42. I live in Warren. Pre op too, just started up my 6 month wait period with my first month of appointments. Going through Beaumont for my surgery.

Happy belated birthday!!! And gulping isn't the issue, it's remembering to drink the liquids and allowing myself enough time to complete the meal. Pre-op I was grab and go, and now I have to sit down and give myself time for things to go down. It's a weird concept.

Oh okay I wonder if that storm will hit us...I'm looking for any reason to stay home with hot coco lol. Please stay safe and warm ☺️

We have Bcbs of IL also and we live in Oklahoma. I had no problems getting my surgery approved. I met all my criteria which wasn't much and they approved me in 2 days!! Good luck!!

I have bcbs of Michigan too the only thing I'm concerned with is I haven't met my deductible yet. How do i spend that up so that the insurance will pay the bulk of the surgery? Why pay more when you can pay less you know
