  1. Hey there, I've been doing well. Diet is pretty good. I still have some trouble keeping up my water and protein intake. I've lost 53 lbs since surgery on 2/22/16 and 63 lbs total. I think I'm on my second stall. First one was my second week and lasted 10 days and I haven't lost anything in about 8 days now. I know it's normal but it drives me batty. I've still got approx 100 lbs that I want to lose.
  2. Water is still a struggle for me as well. I've never been very good at drinking water but I'm getting a lot better at it now!
  3. Hey, how's everyone been doing? I'm doing great, I've lost about 23 lbs so far and I'll be one month out on Tuesday.
  4. So yesterday I felt really crappy. Tons of pressure in my abdomen and threw up mucus twice. Today the pressure is not so bad but I've been struggling to get fluids in. So far today I've been able to manage about 20 ounces. Every time I drinking my Water it feels like it gets stuck and still have the mucus coming up. I hope this doesn't last too long. I'm surprisingly not hungry especially since I haven't had solid food since Saturday morning. I just really wish I could I could guzzle a whole bunch of water because I am so thirsty!

    Just got sleeved yesterday

Post op day 4. I'm feeling quite a bit better. I'm home now. Seems like I'm feeling better every day. Still sipping on my fluids. Sonic ice goes down easier than anything else. I think I'm probably gonna go get a manicure today and get some groceries for the house. I've already got some recipes I want to try when I start full liquids next week!

    Just got sleeved yesterday

Feeling quite a bit better today. I've been able to sip on about 2 oz of Water at a time without the nausea or fullness in the chest. The doc told me last night that I was doing fine with my water intake even though it wasn't very much. He said the stomach is very swollen the first 24-48 hours which makes it very difficult to drink. Also, he said they gave me 4-5 liters of iv fluids while i was there so he wasn't very worried about me getting dehydrated. All in all, today I feel much better. Pressure is gone, just some soreness at incision sites and super thirsty. I get to go home today and see my baby. So excited but a little scared too. It's hard to explain to an excited two year old that momma's tummy hurts.
  7. Omg ya'll, it's tomorrow! I'm freaking out a little. I've never had surgery before and I've never left my son before. My nerves are bad...
  8. Well, I'm going to be staying close to the surgery center for a few days so I won't be going home immediately.
  9. Hey everyone that's already been sleeved. What did you bring with you that is a must have the first few days? I'm going to be a few hours from home so I need to be prepared. BTW, my surgery is outpatient so I won't be in the hospital.
  10. We are having surgery the same day! Are you starting your liquid diet tomorrow too? Yep, started my pre-op diet today actually. Good luck to you!
  11. My surgery is scheduled for Feb 22, 2016. So excited!
