  1. I hit it by 6oz for the first time in 19 or 20 years. I am pumped but I also had some great NSV this weekend as well. My son had his state robotic competition, this meant leaving at 6:30 AM and got home at 10PM. I didn't appreciate at the time, I never sweat the whole day in fact I had to wear my jacket. I never even considered packing my pockets with tissue to wipe my face or pulling up my hair. I also never hit a point that I was just existing to make it through, I enjoyed it the whole time. With my heart issues I was exhausted yesterday and had to take the day to rest, but I had a smile on my face the whole time. Thank you to everyone on this site, I couldn't do this without you,
  2. I blew past my favorite jeans I couldn't wait to wear after week two. But I do have a weird goal, My sister and her wife cleaned out their closet and passed everything to me. They pulled out a pair of capri pants they had their first fight over. My sister like me is cheap, My sister in law was brought up name brand. They cost $150, they look and feel like capris that are $19 but they are my new goal. They also gave me a jacket that my SIL had since college I love, so capris and that jacket are my new goal. @@Dub that jacket looks great already, can't wait to see you make your goal for the reunion,
  3. I cleaned out things lol. I started a painting project, and old cabinet. Like you just kept busy.
  4. So excited for you guys. Good luck!!!
  5. I guess we can agree to disagree. There are 3 women in that story, one older, two shaped differently than what is normally shown in a swim suit magazine. Fat or body shaming goes along with what some people think about age. If the media is showing more real people as beautiful I think that should be celebrated. Thing is whether someone is overweight or underweight their health is their business. My business is to treat everyone with kindness and as beautiful regardless of what they look like.
  6. http://abcnews.go.com/Lifestyle/size-model-featured-sports-illustrated-swimsuit-issue/story?id=36833523 I love this, it's nobodies business to judge, I have tons of scars, a pacemaker that sticks out of my chest, no belly button and some saggy skin. I may have been blessed to have the surgery but I think everyone is beautiful regardless of size, race, disfigurements etc. We need to Celebrate our differences.
  7. Love and prayers to all of you.
  8. I have been so focused on being able to do things for my Son's senior year, I have kind of stopped there. Today I would have to say law school. I am thinking of going to law school. Yikes.
  9. I did run into a bit of a pickle during communion. Up till Wed my sister always had a small cup of Water set aside for me, during the pre and post op diet. We both forgot and she was breaking the bread and I walked up and we both froze. I only took the size of my pinky nail, and drank the grape juice, it's a tiny bit. Something I am going to have to think about each time.
  10. I watched this a minute ago and it just hit home. Didn't know where to post it but it's what we are all doing. We are changing our "not". http://www.lifebuzz.com/never-late/
  11. Plenty of losers settle down just for a roof over their head.
  12. Rant Rant Rant, feel free. I don't have any advice but love and hugs.
  13. I actually liked both books and the points he makes regarding the cookie and men who are just playing. If a man has not found his direction, he is not going to settle down. I also like Dr. Laura. Are there any other books or people you guys like for dating advice?
  14. Yes, Act like a lady, think like a man.
  15. Anybody read his books on dating?
  16. Adding a bible study every day about self esteem by Beth Moore.
  17. We all go through a place of doubt. I can't stress enough to find someone to talk to, my doctor actually told me he wished I would have called, that's what they are there for.
  18. I think you just expressed exactly how I feel about coming here. Thank you,
  19. Completely normal for everyone, You are not alone.
  20. The only time I nearly passed out was when getting out of bed, pretty sure it was dehydration, I'm no doctor but my first thought was blood sugar, then read about the cake along with the alcohol. Sometimes your blood sugar spikes and then falls so low it can cause issues like slurring and passing out. It seem to me it would have showed up in the ambulance,
  21. My Nut said one day will not kill you. She encourages discretion and only splurging on special holidays. I think you were due for a little celebration. Now you can get back on track.
  22. I'm going to give this a try. I kind of hate eating right now, it's just boring,
