Room for two!! -
I'm so sorry, I promise it gets so much better.

I'm sorry you are feeling alone, in the end we all have to go some of this alone. I would suggest you set your partner down and have an honest conversation.

It's normal to get nervous, you will do great. It's different but nothing life shattering. You will get in the hang of it quick. -
I am going to Hell....

Thank you for posting this, I really was beating myself up for eating some m &ms last night. It was defiantly a emotional choice for me, but I have been acting like it was the end of the world all day. Moving on!!! -
Coming up on some MAJOR GOALS! How to treat?
GibbsGirl replied to DavidOso's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I don't have much $$ to reward myself but if I meet the Easter challenge I am going to get my nails done it's only $15 but I like it. I like the idea of small goals and to reward myself as I go along. Part of my journey is to be able to put myself first when it comes to my health and fitness so I'm going to be thinking of some non-food rewards. -
Is your gut playing with your mind or vice versa?

Let's talk about some NSV for the week

I fit in some capris that were too tight the Saturday before, wore them to church and froze. -
Age is but a number......

I would support my child. I think if he was willing to put in the work and go into this with his eyes open it would be a blessing. Sounds like you have a level head on your shoulders. -
My stall broke, I avoided the bakery today when things went very bad and then turned around. Last Saturday night 4 friends from highschool ask me to go eat, I first turned them down and then decided at the last minute what the heck and went. I didn't eat but drank Water and had a great time.

It is a pain but should be alright.

Shefit Apparel, I don't know much about these but they look promising. -
Sounds like you have a great start, I don't think anybody's going to kick you off. It's a personal choice, I had the same thought right before surgery but decided to stay the path. I needed the check and balance system to be successful. Today of all days it's a good thing, because without it I would be hitting the new bakery in town. Day started off BAD...I refused to get down and it has improved. I wanted Carrot Cake to buffer my sorrow and then again to Celebrate. It's veggies right? lol

Surgery W/ No Cpap

I was told to just bring my mask and tubing, they had a hospital one for me to use. -
I know it's scary, try to keep your hands busy and do yourself a favor don't weigh everyday. It's not easy but it will drive you crazy. Anytime we stall in my opinion it brings back the memories of failure from the past. Somehow we are going to be different and this did not work. We have a tool now that will keep us moving forward we just have to be patient. It's a wild and crazy road we are on, I stalled for 3 weeks, but I was still losing inches. Get yourself in a routine and focus on just working your plan. This is your future, live it to the fullest.

Tired of "embracing the stall !"
GibbsGirl replied to Nurse_Lenora's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I just came off a stall and can say at a certain point I was embracing that stall so tight I may or may not have been strangling it. I still loss inches. It brings back those old feels of failure, at least in my mind. Now I don't have a choice but to weigh everyday because of my heart, I only count my weight as loss or gained on Mondays. I think you will hear it over and over unless you have to, do not weigh but at the most once a week. -
Finally broke my stall, I'm doing ok. I eat sugar free Jello and pudding once a day, beef Jerky (natural), and meat. I'm not allowed any grains etc. I'm not going to lie, I am a bit bored.
