I had issues with my insurance company too. It took over a month to get approved and I was approved literally a week and a half before my surgery was scheduled to happen. They cut it really close. I had all requirements that my insurance company required completed but they kept coming back with little things that they said I needed to do. It was beyond frustrating and annoying but I didn't give up and finally for it approved. Unfortunately for many insurance companies, they make you jump through a billion hoops but stick with it. Just keep coming back with the stupid stuff they ask for and they will eventually approve it. I feel for you though, hang in there!

I got mine the day before surgery ???? but it only lasted like 3 days when usually I get it for 7 or 8. It was lighter than normal too.

I use Premier protein. I have the chocolate liquid shakes and then the vanilla protein powder. The chocolate shakes taste like chocolate milk and the vanilla can be mixed in with everything. Both kinds are 30 grams of protein. My doctor recommended it because it pretty much has the highest amount of protein out of all of them. My dad had the sleeve surgery 3 years ago and he also recommended Premier for protein too.

Oh and your family to keep you company, they were awesome to have there! ????

A robe, slippers, comfy clothes, Chapstick and your own pillow/blanket ????

I'm having my surgery on 12/16 too and all the same thoughts have been going through my mind. I think it's normal to have all those feelings, I mean it's a huge life change. I just have to keep bringing myself back around and telling myself that this is the right decision; I'm going to feel better inside and out. We've got this ???? Keep me posted on how your surgery goes. I'll let you know about mine as well.
