About Me

  • Gender
    Female
I have been overweight since my first child and gradually hit 315 in October.  It was my Gynecologist who said if you don't do this you will die.  If I give you a diet pill you'll probably have a heart attack.  He said the fat on females causes them to produce estrogen even if post menopausal and that the D&C he did showed hyper plastic polyps and I would continue to get them and it could turn into the dreaded C word.  He gave me the surgeons card and see him in 3 months he really cared about me.  So that was in October, I mulled it over and over and decided I want to live longer and I want to LIVE.  That was my eureka moment.  So the gastric sleeve was done on December 10th.  So far I have lost 29 pounds from the OB til now.  I was also doing this because for me it was harder to wipe back and front and I can do that again  no problems now.  I do rest but Christmas shopping is my walking exercise.  I've gone 5-7 hours yes I am wiped out so I do allow a 1-2 hour nap I don't go to bed till late to make sure I've done it all physically I can.  When the took out the drain the pain left me, just the hole hurts a little but the right side is worse that is where the stomach came out that is not bad either.  I plan to go on to do my hobby which is Geo caching with a buddy of course but I think staying active is the key.  I am a little confused on the diet so it is still water sf jello and 2 protein drinks.  Dr. thinks I may be 275 by the 6th of Jan. 2016.  Haven't been that weight since 3 years ago.  I'll post a pic of me now.  I plan to do weekly photos to see.  already some clothes fit differently.  So I am happy.
