I had 60 pounds to loose. My sugury was a year ago. By 5 months out, I'd lost my 60 lbs and maintained. No regrets.

Um, you know you can't eat that Gummy stuff, right? Plus it is all sugar?

Well, I didn't have my surgery there, but I'm in San Diego. Great outcome, happy to answer a year questions.

Once you are through that, you have the surgery and we get through it.

I've had IBS since 2001, and GERD since 2004. I was sleeved about 10 months ago. No IBS or GERD sympt9mes. I have been taking protonix since 2001.

Dr. Garcia did my surgery in December, 2015. Best decision of my life, great experience.

I too had this problem, every night. I'd been on protonix for over 10 years and had an endoscopy to ensure no ill effects. Had sleeve surgery in Dec 2015, and with the weight loss and diet change, this is gone. I still need my proton in, but as long as I take it, I'm good.

Yep, eating more than needed leads to exactly as described. Rest, and eat less next time. After about 5 months, my brain adjusted and this is no longer an issue.

I am not someone to spend money on jewelry, so I bought a new one on Amazon, for $20. I wear my original wedding ring on my ring hand middle finger as a reminder that I've gone from a 9 to a 7.

I completely understand. I used to be able to order clothes online, and they arrives at my doorstep. Now, I have to try everything on, usually, I go back to get 2 sizes smaller, as I can not mentally adjust to my goal soze, which I attained. Then, once I find something that fits, agonize over whether I should buy it, as it may not fit next month. The price we pay to be healthy and at goal weight. Maybe I will adjust someday, but the downside is far outweighed by my benefits.

You should add a question regarding perceived outcome. I met goal, and feel because of this, some answered were skewed.

Dr. Garcia and CER were amazing so great, that I took my best friend there 3 months later. I went in Dec 2015 and after having 4 surgeries for other things in the US felt this was the best experience I've had. I'm also at goal weight now.

I was sleeved on 12/27/15.
Starting weight was 217.
Current weight is 164.
I walked through a Las Vegas Casino yesterday in my swimsuit, sure it was a tanking with a skort, but I feel better now than I have in over 20 years.

I've read this post and agree that I don't want to waste food, but how is this different than ordering food at a dinner with friends and only eating 1/4? After a 5 day trip with my husband, who was expected to eat his dinner and the leftover 3/4 of mine, I wonder what the right solution is.

I was back at work, representing my client in court 6 days post op. I had a plan for my associate to take the hearing if needed, but I was fine.
