I too had this problem, every night. I'd been on protonix for over 10 years and had an endoscopy to ensure no ill effects. Had sleeve surgery in Dec 2015, and with the weight loss and diet change, this is gone. I still need my proton in, but as long as I take it, I'm good. I completely understand. I used to be able to order clothes online, and they arrives at my doorstep. Now, I have to try everything on, usually, I go back to get 2 sizes smaller, as I can not mentally adjust to my goal soze, which I attained. Then, once I find something that fits, agonize over whether I should buy it, as it may not fit next month. The price we pay to be healthy and at goal weight. I've read this post and agree that I don't want to waste food, but how is this different than ordering food at a dinner with friends and only eating 1/4?
