    Re-sleeve to Bypas

Hello... I have had your same journey original surgery was gastric sleeve and then re-sleeve in 2016 and now conversion to bypass on 10/07/20. The GERD was terrible and my weight loss was stalled and actually gaining. Plus i had a stricture. I am feeling so much better.

    Time off work

First of all Congratulations!!!! I am having my surgery on the 4th of March. I am scared and excited as well... I was told by my surgeon's office that it could be as few as 2 weeks or 6 weeks it will depend on me.. I do have a desk job, and can also get my walking in walking to the bathroom because it is far away... Since your job is a bit more physical than mine... I would defiantly lean towards 4 weeks if you can... like some of the other post have pointed out, not only is there the possibility of dealing with pain, but there is also the fatigue and the mental part that comes alone with it...

Hey everyone... has anyone out there on their second time around. I have a twisted stomach that has caused my weight loss to stall. I have weeks that my stomach hurts very badly, with nausea and vomiting.. I have a new doctor because I have moved to a new city. I am excited to finally get this fixed, but any thoughts... I totally feel like a failure because I started out so great, but then major stall and sickness. signed... twisted stomach
