I'm so unsure of what I want! Help!

I had RNY almost 7 months ago....I chose it because I already had bad heartburn and was told the sleeve could make it worse....Oh and I have only had one episode of mild dumping early on...I ate some creamy peanut butter and I think I ate it too fast! Best of luck to you in whichever procedure you chose! [emoji3][emoji106] Hw: 324 SW: 295 CW: 225 ....only one more pound to 100 lbs lost since I began this journey last Oct.
  2. My 27 yr old son was a big part of my decision....He lives close to the Colorado Rockies and he really wants to hike with his Mom! I will be attempting this with him in a couple weeks [emoji3][emoji106]

Post op regrets topics - not popular

If only we could undo some of the decisions we have made in the past....oh wait! If we could do that then we wouldn't be obese in the first place leading us to our decisions of WLS! [emoji3][emoji106] Good luck Gina....I hope they get this all figured out for you so you can resume a somewhat normal life [emoji3]

Did you ever have second thoughts?

Never gave it a second thought..wasn't nervous at all...once I decided to do it...that was it...I was at peace with my decision...I will admit the first few months post op were challenging and I had my moments of regrets but that soon faded and so far I'm happy with my decision ...6 months post op gastric bypass down 68 lbs since surgery and 98 lbs since the start of the process [emoji3][emoji106]

    How often do you "eat"?

Don't worry if you don't reach these goals for the first couple of weeks....mainly stay hydrated and get in the protein you can. It gets easier with each passing week! [emoji3][emoji106] It sounds like you are doing fine! Good luck!

  25. As I close in on 100 lbs gone forever , I am finally realizing gastric bypass was the best thing I've ever done for myself and my family....I feel better...I feel I look better...lol.....I went clothes shopping on Sunday to find an outfit for an upcoming Blake Shelton concert that my hubby bought me VIP tickets for an early birthday present. I found the outfit I'm wearing in the picture below..I was so excited when I pulled the jean jacket off the rack thinking it's not going to fit...it's an XL.....omg! It actually fits me!! ???? ....I started my journey at 324lbs...SW was 295...CW is 227 ....one of the things on my bucket list is to hike in the Rockies with my son next month...He is so excited that I am going to attempt this with him ???????? I'm moving onward and downward with the new me....I cannot wait to see 199 on that scale!!!
