  1. That's great I go Tuesday - hope I wake up - but know what you were talking about - kinda feel like dead man walking ! But I hope the Seahawks win today ! That's my biggest problem today !
  2. That's what I was hoping - using the pre- post - and new sleeve to get me the edge but getting a comfortable diet and excerice program to loose slower - but who knows
  3. Very helpful - just going through the WHAT AM I DOING stage
  4. Some people say they have no problem with jalapeños and garlic - I have ate a jalapeño everyday all my life - will that change or if you could you can - I know it will be months but do you keep your same taste buds
  5. that scares me - if your eating less and doing your exercises, why is it hard to maintain ? does your body want to go back to 320 ? will it always be a struggle ?
  6. not sure how to read or search for the folks that have been 5 years out and still happy and maintaining a healthy weight . do they drift off to normal land and not post on this site or do i just not know how to find the posts. i want to loose weight slow like maybe 50 in a year 75 by 2 years and 100 by 3 years is that unrealistic ? or does it just drop off fast . seems like everybody wants it to go real fast . i had the band in 08 and it never worked for me / now on this tuesday 8th i have band out and sleeve. looking for "comments from the old dogs"....mike
  7. that was all good stuff - thanks for putting it out there - hope all folks do good
  8. thank you ann - all is helpful - wasent discounting the females advise its just that men seem to not comment and i know different things effect me different ways
  9. do people that love to cook / grill and enjoy the presentation of food still feel that passion ? do you enjoy a fine red wine and just a smaller taste of the master piece smoked pork roast or does the desire to be around food and foody people go away - i have had a band for little over 5 years and no results but getting stuck and frustrated , i am scheduled to get band removed and be sleeved in next 8 weeks - will it really be the change i wanted with the band ? will there be a respect for fine foods with just a ability to not over indulge ? so many questions i know but i too want to say " it was the best thing i ever did for myself ! i enjoy reading the female posts and am happy for them because weight surely effects them different and they are judged harder then over weight men - but i would sure love to hear from or visit with the guys that love to cook and their relationship with the sleeve...thank you ......mike
