Get in the pool. You will love it. I know I do. If it weren't for the pool I wouldn't get much exercise at all. I can do things in the Water that I could never do on land.
It is so worth it.

Day two of my pre-op diet. I prepared by eating *very* low carb for the previous month. I am not feeling hungry so far. All my appointments and labs are completed. Next stop, OR. I can't wait for Feb. 8th!

I only lost 7 pounds on the 2-week pre-op diet, even though I sstrictly followed it, but my doctor said my liver could not have looked better.

Excruciating pain on my right side. liquid norco doesn't even help. I hope that it eases tomorrow as I am at my witt's end.

Hello everyone my name is Nicole and I just received my surgery date and it's 2/25. I'm so excited. Congratulations everyone.

My surgery was Monday Feb 8. To honest, the abdominal pain is very bad when I have to move but they are letting me stay an extra day. Hopefully by tomorrow I will be in less pain.

I only lost 7 pounds on the 2-week pre-op diet, even though I sstrictly followed it, but my doctor said my liver could not have looked better.

There is a difference between what a surgeon requires and Medicare approval for WLS. If you are going to a seminar, they are probably sending you paperwork to fill out and turn in that day. Depending on your weight and other factors such as reflux, you may want to consider bypass rather than sleeve.

Ok, so my surgeon here has quoted me at $18,000 for a full Tummy Tuck, breast lift & silicon implants. I send my pictures to this surgeon in Mexico who is US board certified and the same procedures but with gel implants is $7,500. WTH? Cancun here we come (in May)

So very happy for you!! I hope you wake up from surgery and your mind is at peace knowing that it has become a reality!! Are you from upstate?? Nice to know another Land of Lincoln resident is also having a life changing transformation. Kind of takes your mind of the BUDGET FIASCO . Ha ha ha!!!! I'm not scared or nervous-yet. It will happen at check in I think. I will look around me and then likely get emotional. I know one thing for sure: I will meet you and all these wonderful supportive people right back here after I'm -WE-are post op!!!

Monday surgery for me! Also in Illinois :-)

I brew a pot of Decaf coffee every Sunday to last me all week. Once it cools, I transfer it to a big bottle and place in the fridge. Every morning I pour my vanilla Premier Protein drink and some coffee over ice along with sugar free coffee Syrup. It's like heaven in a glass! I LOVE iced coffees and this is both inexpensive and healthy I'm not a Breakfast person so this has been a huge help for me.

My surgery date is also February 8th!! I just joined this group last night. I'm having lots of jitters now that the date is just around the corner!!!
