    Starting Over?

I'm so glad I found this thread! I feel as though I've gone back to old habits.... Light Breakfast, nothing else until around 3 in the afternoon, then dinner around 8 pm. Now the late dinner I know is a major no no. I'm 6 mos out and still rely on premier Protein to get me to my goal. I do feel as though I have platoud (spelling) on my weight loss. Very frustrating, hard to get motivated again. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. Ain't that the truth! It's a lot harder then people assume! All is good though....at least my ass likes me ????

    Recovery + Time Off Work

I had my surgery on 10/26/15, as soon as I was fully released from my surgeon with no restrictions, I went back to work. Roughly 5 weeks, but I do a lot of lifting over 15 lbs

    First doctor appointment since surgery.

Congrats on the loss! I've been using ice chips to help me along with my water intake. Goal is 64oz TOTAL! Includes shakes and whatever else you can manage to get in. Good luck ☺️

    Post-op Gas Pain

I too had my surgery on Monday 10-26! The only pain I've experienced so far is just from the wound that they did the most work on. Left side, top. I've been able to control it with hydrocodone and walking. Tonight I took my first shower, not as relaxing as I thought it was going to be! Good luck!

    Struggling with Liquid Diet

All I can say is that it's mind over matter. I found the first 3 days hard as heck but now on day 4 in finally feeling like myself again!!! I started messing around with my shakes, added 1% milk instead of water....that was ok by my nutritionist. Also adding fruit helps, more filling. You're lucky to have egg beaters in your allowed foods, mine is our liquid...nothing else. Hang in there and good luck!
