I haven't told anyone but my husband my mother in law and my kids. My sister is extremely morbidly obese and she cries and talks about her weight to me often. So I don't want to tell her because I feel like it would make her feel worse that I am able to do this and she can't/or won't.
Won't your sister eventually find out that you had the surgery? Or at least, notice that you are losing lots of weight quickly?

I'm in Fort Worth and I used Dr Adam Smith. I'm only a few weeks post-op but I've had no problems at all. I would recommend him.

I picked up my old hobbies . Find something you enjoy using your hands and finishing your project. I seek many of my projects , which puts more money in my pocket. Don't be hard on yourself.... This is new to all of us and we will mess up from time to time. Good luck!!!!
Can you share any tips on projects that can be sold? Where do you sell them at? It would be great to find something to keep me busy that also earns a little extra money.

I had to do the pre-op diet for 2 weeks. I agree with the other post. It got much better by the third day. Hope that it gets better for you soon. I managed to lose 24 lbs during the pre-op phase so it's worth it.

Even if he is the one that posted them on other sites before this one, they don't belong in this thread. This thread was very useful before it was derailed. Thanks for everyone that posted good suggestions.

Hi All! I got my sleeve on October the 8th. Hope its okay to post on here. I am really feeling I made as mistake as well. Can't get anything down. I take a sip of Protein and then I feel full and tightness in my abdomen followed by nausea. Not sure if this is normal. I dont have any energy either. Trying to stay hydrated, because I know that is a vital part of this whole process. Also, Ive been taking Centrum Silver chewables, which arent bad at all, but was wondering if they caused anyone else fullness like me. I pray this gets better and is something I wont regret forever.
In the beginning, I had to take very small sips of Water and Protein drinks to avoid the tightness. I'm two weeks post-op now and I can finally drink a "normal" amount of liquid. Good luck.

The internet ? I assure you that those pics came from my backyard grill or my kitchen. I enjoy grilling, cooking and such. The only problem is that I usually had loud music playing and beer close at hand when doing this. No mysteries where the weight came from on me. I only posted the healthiest stuff I cooked. Typically, I'd do unhealthy stuff.......Dub - Why are posting pictures of food from the internet? If I wanted to make myself hunrgy, I could google them myself.
Have you never heard of reverse image search? It will tell you every site that you visited to "borrow" these images.

I'd stay away from the mean ones and look for some enjoyable ones.

I know how you feel. I had my surgery on 09/28. After the first week, I stopped losing weight. I stayed at the same weight for at least 5 days. I tried to not get depressed but it was hard to stay upbeat. It was ridiculous that I was afraid it was my fault. I mean, I am barely getting in 500 calories a day.
Anyway, yesterday the scale went down a pound and this morning it went down another. I'm hoping that it is over, at least for now.
Good luck and try not to let it bother you too much.
