I'm sitting here at my dr office waiting to be seen. This is my last visit of 6! I had the six month required physician assisted diet. It seems unreal that I am sitting here for the last time to talk about my weight. After this...next stop....another meeting with the surgeon.

I've got a few boxes of shakes and a powdered canister to mix my own and add in stuff. I've got my vitamins. I had to go with centrum because the advantage bariatric made me sicker than a dog! I've got my calcium and iron, vitD and b12! I've got Isopure on order and just need the chicken broths and beef broths. I'm ready! I'm looking at a surgery date at the end of March or beginning of April!

I'm hoping I will be more sexually active! My poor husband is fit and fine and having a fat wife just doesn't cut it for me! He deserves better and definitely deserves lots more lovin! Clothes wise, I want to wear a one piece dress, and I love the burnout shirts from next level but the fat that hangs out the side of my bra or that back fat is really not attractive.

I'll be sleeved in April! No solid date yet.

i have my last appointment March 11th!! I had to wait six months! In the meantime, well in the last week I have bought Protein drinks. I tried all the allowed drinks a few months ago and bought what I liked. I am stocked on Vitamins and Isopure drinks! All the healthy healthy stuff I'll need like the veggies I'll be allowed to have during the 2 weeks pre op diet I'll buy in bulk later. I'm ready! Can you tell?

I was bothered by a conversation I had with a person who had the VSG. He said that once your comfort (food) is taken away you will find other things to fill that spot. It's mental and usually it's lust or sex. That one you start to feel good about yourself you start to lean towards that comfort of attention and the advances which then leads you to other things. I don't think this is true with everyone! I have read in here where some people have started cheating etc and it seemed like it was after the sleeve. Thoughts?

So I called the surgeons office today to make sure I had everything in order and that the only thing left to do was my last visit, blood draw and meet with the hospitals nutritionist. The lady there tells me "oh it's just that quick, there's other things that have to happen before we get a date or even submit to insurance." !!!!!&@*#% what "other" things??? I mean F I've been doing everything I was supposed to for the last 6 months!!!!! She just has me worried that I'm going to be drug along even longer than need be!

I AM SO READY!!! I CAN BARELY STAND IT!!

Well today was visit 5 of 6!! It's getting close!! I'm ready!!!

No set date yet but my last supervised appointment is March 11!! So hopefully soon after that!!!

I'm afraid that if I DONT do the surgery I'll end up leaving my kids motherless from dying of obesity. I'm afraid that if I DONT do the surgery my heart will explode or I'll have a stroke from high blood pressure. I'm afraid after the surgery that this "Kid Apron" the fat that hangs won't go away....that's all

There's other ways to take the O2, they can clip it to a toe and even the sticky ones that fold around the finger can be put on an earlobe! I do not want to have to take off my nails BUT I will if I have to.

Did anyone's Dr or hospital tell them they had to take their nails off before surgery? The gel nails or acrylic?

The 6 months go by SO FAST!!!! I have an Appt coming up on the 9th and one more in March then I am ready for WLS!!!! As it gets down to the wire, I'm starting to feel a bit more jittery/anxious, but all good things!!!!!!

I first told my husband then my 10 year old girl. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said "mommy, I'm so happy your gonna be happy." At that moment I knew that the 4 real reasons I was doing this was for my kids. Tell them. You need them and they need you and with everyone in the know (whoever you tell) it will be a smoother ride and much more rewarding knowing your not doing it alone. Instead of the kids thinking "whys mom not eating, is mom sick, she's getting thin she must be sick is she gonna die" they will know you just can't handle a lot of food BECAUSE of the surgery. I say to keep all little minds from worry tell them and assure them it's for them too.
