  1. I know that for many people, as they approach their goal weight their weight loss slows down. I also know that stalls are a natural, normal, and necessary part of the process.

I would recommend that you be patient and follow your program. What does your NUT suggest?

    Embrace the Stall!

Thanks so much for your feedback! I havent spoken with them yet but i know they would tell me what you did! ???????? im just so greatful to see such major change. Just being cautious ????

  2. I am currently 7 months out. I know its a bit early still to worry but i have some questions. I am currently 149 but would love to reach my goal of 135. I am at what seems to be a stall. Has anyone gone through this and still reached their goal weight? Some times i catch myself thinking, oh no the surgery is over (cant help it, and sure im not the only one) thoughts anyone? Ty :)

  3. I am ALWAYS concerned about regain, but this is something I'm really trying to get into my head. Someone told me this years ago and it is still in my head.

If you forget to brush your teeth, one day, are you going to stop brushing your teeth forever? Of course not...you'll brush them again the next day. We need to look at our eating in the same way.

Good luck, and never stop thinking about it, but don't worry....

And on the flip side, I also saw a blog from a very successful WLS person who has maintained for years say that we have to look at excersise (or being active and moving) and eating right as a job. Just like brushing our teeth every day, combing our hair, and taking a shower and washing our butts everyday, moving and choosing to eat right should just be the norm like those things.

Although there are days I forget to wash my butt, I'll admit.....

    Lol love it

  4. I fear this after surgery. I'm already one of those always cold people. Maybe I'll go the other way and be hot all the time lol.

Lol i use to be soooo hot, sweated so easily. Now its the complete opposite ????????

I have thyroid issues and I freeze.....loosing my insulation is not helping my cause

    Sorry to hear that ????????

  5. Great job!! How tall are you? I just had surgery today lapband to RNY and weigh 240 at 5'10 so I'm curious how fast I will lose.

Im 5"5. I lost 98 lbs in 6 months. Everyone loses differently though so you will never know until it happens lol and Ty! Good luck to you, you will do great!
