You look AWESOME! How do you feel?

It's good! I made it once before surgery to see if I'd like it. By itself it's just kind of meh. But with the toppings it's yum!
My plan is to make 3-4 at a time and freeze the extras.

Buy yourself some colace.
I bought an immersion blender for shakes, Soups and such.
Have plenty of Protein Powder, broth, Popsicles and Jello on hand.

Ok guys I got a call on Friday October 2 finally got an approval for my sleeve. Yahoooooooooooooo!!!! My surgery is October 14th I am so excited and of course scared. Give me some good advise on what I need to bring to the hospital.
You don't need to bring anything special. Change of clothes, toiletries, phone charger. Bring a pillow for the ride home to hold over your stomach.

Well done! You look great!

I wouldn't play around with it. Go with your doctors instructions.

My dr said I was okay to go The day after. I stayed an additional day since it was easier to get out of bed, have help, etc.

I had Charlie horses from a lack of potassium.

That phone call I got with my date was one of the best moments of my life! Congrats! You're on your way to a brand new you!

I know fish is high in Protein and great for you. Pre-surgery (I'm 5 days out) I hated fish. But I want to try it. What are some mild ones that are ok to eat early on?

Keep a food diary for the next 3-4 weeks and go over it with the nutritionist in your dr office. They should be able to tell you what you need to change!

You did it, it's over, time to move on. Take it as a learning experience. Don't beat yourself up... Nothing healthy comes from that. Good luck!
