i am also scheduled for november 5th in nj!!! time is flying! i was just looking over everything and making sure i have everything i need for after and at the hospital

Hello! Ok so I made my final appointment before my surgery to answer any last minute questions and to go over anything that might have been left in the air. BUT do to the fact that I got a lot going on I feel like I'm leaving out important questions to ask. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, what are questions that you all have asked are going to ask or maybe even forgot to ask before the big day!?

has anyone going into suegery soon get a flu shot before or after? ..... I haven't had a flu shot in a couple of years I'm not to keen on them...BUT since I'm getting surgery done soon not sure if I honestly should.....

@Southern Sleeve oh no!! Ive seen quite a bit of people went or are going through that as well with the sweets they loved the products pre surgery but then after t couldn't stand them...... BUT they said as time passed that there taste buds normalized and they could have them again......

@@CJ Porter Yes I have tried the chicken noodle soup one and o loved it the first time I made it I messed it up lol I put it in hot water which I understand is a no no cause it curdled I wasn't sure if maybe there was a powder that didn't curdle at all @@BLERDgirl I think Im gonna see if I can get a sample of the isopure just to try it out THANKS FOR YOUR OUTLOOK GUYS ITS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED !!!

Hey guys im getting pretty excited and anxious about my upcoming sleeve procedure on November 5th!!!! My question is, What unflavored Protein powders are the best that you have tried and or use thus far?! I have tried the unjury and put it in homemade Jello and it was delicious! However I did notice it was there, but it doesn't bother me right now. I'm not sure if the taste will bother me AFTER the surgery, so that's why I was wondering if there was another brand of unflavored Protein should give a try! Don't just view comment too! ​ ​

Awesome!! My surgery is in New Jersey. Have you started a pre-op diet yet? How long is your doc requiring you to do the pre op diet?

What you do is not allow evil malicious people to dictate YOUR happiness because it is YOURS!!!!! if this weightloss surgery is what YOU have been wanting for your own good then i believe you should go for it!!!!! See if you can research if there are any support groups around your area ... talk to you doctors office ..even hospitals have groups that meet every week ... dont let others control what you do because they are clearly miserable people.... if you have your husbands full support focus on that and nothing else........ i hope everything resolves itself in the most peaceful way im sending positive energy your way!!!!

Hey everyone!just looking for a mentor/buddy to have while i begin this surgery my date for the gastric sleeve is on november 5th ... super nervouse and excited ........ any tips or advice? ... any one with ways or even drinks or purees they used when post or pre surgery?..... are Teas ok to drink?
