  1. What is the longest stall you've had and at what months after post op were they until you finally dropped? My stall started at 8 weeks out and I'm still the same weight at 14 weeks. I've list inches just hoping the scale will drop some day soon.
  2. I had surgery 10/15 and I still find myself lacking in energy. I take my Vitamins, eat Protein but could do better and drink liquid but could be better, however, before surgery I always had a TON of energy. I just don't have that kind of energy I use to have and I don't know what to do. I even find it hard to get motivated to work out when before surgery I was always committed and go at least 5 days a week. Is anyone else feeling this way?
  3. It's strange bit I don't get thirstyour or crave Water when I might crave or need it. Water is also hard to take down. So I have to have some flavor like Vitamin water in order to hydrate. My Dr said it's because waters PH is different and for some people they don't do well with waters PH. My weight loss is slow and I struggle to drink anything everyday. Is anyone else got these issues? Ty!

    Give up on goal weight?

Wow....I am surprised that they allow such a huge weight increase as we get older on that chart. It seems like the older we get the better it would be to be lighter. Considering we are not as strong as we are were in our 20's and carrying extra weight means it's harder on our joints and body!

    Never thirsty

I got share it's nice to know I am not alone. It's so difficult to guzzle our Water but then we are also on well water. I was at someone's house the other day and she gave me a glass of water from her refrig with ice and I could of had 10 of them. So wierd how it's hard to swallow some water and not all!!

    Low energy

It's normal to feel tired the first 3 months especially while your body is still recovering. This is a major surgery and still important to listen to your body and rest.
  8. When I eat fast is how I end up overeating as well.

  14. I couldn't do this journey if I weighed everyday or anyday. I don't weigh myself and if I go to the Dr's I turn around and ask them not to tell me what my weight is. If I don't want to turn around on the scale I just look up so I don't see it and again ask them not to tell me. I lose SUPER SLOW and I am not 100% perfect on the eating scale either. But I have lost and I know without a scale when I am gaining and when I am losing. All based on what food choices I am making and bottom line that's no secret. Like today, I feel pretty lousy and it's all because I've been eating junk food for the last 3 days. I know it's emotional crap too because my youngest is moving out and soon I will be that empty nester and I can tell you it is affecting my emotions. That's something that's real and I got to deal with the emotional swings. Exercise helps. However, if I weighed on a scale it wouldn't help but just drive me into a pretty bad depressed state because I see the negative results of my emotional swing lately. I know what I have to do today. Just jump on the band wagon and get back to low carbs and high Protein and get myself mentally more stable with exercise and drinking more fluids. Not sure I answered your question but bottom line at the age of 54 I know that the scale and me will never be good friends so why have it in my life? It's never served me well!

    Energy levels?

I think this is my problem.
  16. I can relate. I've been eating terrible and I graze constantly. My biggest problem is not eating enough protein. I'm tired all the time and struggle with fluids. I eat too many of the wrong things in bread form. It's terrible I am not able to follow the right path.
  17. I get the Protein part just wonder what you do with your carbs. Do you factor them and how much or maybe not at all. How it's working for you. Thank you!

    Chronic Constipation Woes

I've struggled with severe constipation. To the point where I had to use enema bags to get release every 3 to 4 days because I lost the urge to go completely. I've struggled all my life and 54 years old. I tried it all!!@@@@.....Then one day I discovered Dr Shultz (AKA Herbdoc.) "Formula one". It works and works good!!!! I go several times a day now and I'm consistent. Been regular for 3 years since starting it. I take it everyday religiously. My skin has changed and body.I'm all around heathier and I get the urge to go like normal people are suppose too. I started out with 3 pills as recommended by my chiropractor. Then I advance to 4 later. Now I'm on the extra strength after 2 years. I prefer 1 pill too and it is powerful stuff. There are no cramps or anything. If you struggle with chronic constipation wait until you see what come out the first 2 days. I was going solid poops almost every 3 hours. All herbs too. One thing though..it has a hot pepper in it and you want that pill to get down with a good wash of liquids. A couple times I felt it burn but discovered 3 sips of coconut Water fixed it. Bottom line gulp it down... This stuff is a miracle.
  19. Perhaps the best skill to learn and try with people is how to change a topic quickly when it comes to your weight. As soon as it starts be ready to ask someone else a question like how's your daughter. Did you hear it's gonna rain tomorrow. Who are you voting for? Yada Yada yada....good luck. Hope they leave you alone some. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App

This varies for me. I'm 6 months post open today. I had about cup and half of ceaser salad tonight. I was done after that. lunch I ate about 6 ounces of shrimp. Yesterday 6 ounces of crab. I have 2 eggs and cheese scrambled. I worry I eat to much too. But those are my maxs. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
