I waited about six months and found out shortly that my tolerance was two drinks tops. I'm a year out and still haven't had a beer. I would avoid carbonation and alcohol for at least six months. Just remember everything in moderation. Alcohol has no nutritional value, so it is best to avoid it if you can.

I waited six months. Went on all inclusive, so it was hard not to drink. I learned that my new limit was two and to make sure there was a lounge chair nearby because it almost always put me to sleep.

I didn't have a bowel movement the entire first week, so I consider you fortunate that you were able to pass anything.

Take a breath and relax. Your weight loss will fluctuate. As long as you take your Vitamins, eat your Protein and drink your liquids--you'll be fine. Don't be discouraged when you don't lose as much as you think you should lose. As long as the scale keeps going down, you're going in the right direction.
