I was just wondering how the plane ride after the surgery was for any of you? I was thinking it is going to be pretty rough and thought a pillow up against my belly would be best. Any other advice?

I am the same day and start my pre-op diet Monday as well. What is your pre-op diet? All liquids or low carb??

Just do your research. In the end you have to do this for you. Not anyone else. But I would advise to maybe message Alex about your surgeon. He knows a lot about the docs down there and can tell you if you are making the right decision with the doc you chose.

Wondering how many couples both have the sleeve? If so, how far apart were your surgeries? If not a significant other, then with any family or friends?

I'm 12/2 as well, moved up from 1/21. Not gonna lie, I'm kinda freaking out right now - it's less than 3 wks away and I just found out two days ago! I thought I had all this time to mentally prepare, and now it's right in front of me and I feel panicky and haven't slept since I found out. Trying to take deep breaths and just pray that the day comes and goes without a hitch. Good luck!

No long to go! R u pre-op now? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Nope. I start low carb & low calorie on the 23rd. Just have to do two weeks. I have already been cutting back and been off sodas for a week. Hoping this will help me ease into it.
