I am so sorry you had to go through all of this. I am sorry I haven't been much help since having my surgery on Monday. I am so happy we went to San Diego though and you got some good care. Now please just pass the stone so you can feel better!!!

Well I am a little hurt by my Mexico team. Since we had to leave a day early and I didn't have my last meeting with @@Dr. Altamirano I really thought someone would have called me. Or even emailed me here. I can't believe they aren't curious about how I am doing after surgery or how things went for you in The San Diego hospital. They treated me great while I was there but the lack of follow up has me hurt and sad. ????

Sorry. I am doing great but have soreness and low energy. Been a wild week. My husband got food poisoning then kidney stones while we were there.

Thanks for taking care of me. Can't believe I got food poisoning and then kidney stones while in Mexico for your surgery. And had to be rushed back across the border to ER in San Diego because hospital in Mexico was unable to control the kidney stone pain and nausea. Thankfully you had a great surgery and are doing awesome despite all of my attempts to derail your journey. Lol. Lol. Yeah overall I am very pleased with my experience in Mexico. They took awesome care of me and 4 days post op I am having an amazing recovery! Now if you could please pass that stone so we can get started on our new active lifestyle, I would appreciate it. Hehe. ????

Yes I had one repaired. I was told it is pretty common in people who are obese.

I am doing pretty good. Sore on my left side. Some chest gas pains. Been very active because the night of my surgery my husband got good poisoning then kidney stones. At one point we shared a room and were both hooked to an iv. Sure was a funny sight. Not fun but have some crazy memories to look back on!!!

I am doing better than I thought I would be! The gas pain in my chest was the worst part of it all Quick healing to you!!!

Well I am finally here in Tijuana after a long day of flying from Kentucky. I am here at the Bariatric Pal House. It is very nice! Me and my husband are the only two here tonight so we have it all to ourselves. My surgery is at 2pm local time tomorrow. Please send positive thoughts and prayers my way. I can't believe I am so close to my new life! It is very exciting. )

Well I just arrived in Tijuana! The recovery house is super nice! I am excited for tomorrow. I was nervous, but now that I am here, it just feels right. I can't wait to start being the NEW me! Good luck to everyone who is this week if I don't get on here for a while! We are SO brave for making this step in our lives! We are going to rule this new us!!

My diet says I can have a small salad and a Protein shake. But I only had a few bites of salad at the airport today. Other than that i am sticking to clear liquids.

How nervous are all of y'all with surgery next week? I was doing great until today. Then it all sunk in. I'm so nervous but excited too for this awesome change coming!!
