First time in forever...size 12 jeans!
It truly is a great feeling!!! I started this journey just 8 months ago wearing a 30/32. I've always loved shopping but grew to hate it because of the way i looked. Shopping is now fun again!! @@cindyw41 Congrats on your size 14's!!! I've also put on my old jean shorts and my jaw dropped. This surgery is a blessing and I am forever grateful to my surgeon!!

haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate
I would reply with something like, no, I'm sad that you have nothing else to do but think about me, bless your heart. But really if your obsession with me continues, HR will be involved. If it continues, you know what's next!!

Coffee
@@UalreadyKnow where did you get the cinnamon bun flavor protein? Sounds great for my coffee. I very much enjoy Iso 100 Protein Powder, I once read an article on here about how all the powders come with added glutamine and stuff like that, and "that"added protein comes from hair and fingernail particles. Ewwwwww, so this stuff is as clean as it gets no nails in my protein please it's pure whey isolate and tastes amazing IMO! I buy at nutri pro or Vitamin shoppe

When will I stop regretting this surgery?
have you tried eating sugar free Popsicles? They honestly satiated my thirst early on when it was painful to sip!

Coffee
With approval from my surgeon and NUT, I drink 2 scoops of my protein powder mixed with my decaf coffee in the morning. It gets me going and gives me 50gms of protein to start my day! (For this purpose,I choose cinnamon bun flavored protein) then I usually eat as normal (low carb-high protein) or sip on an Isopure throughout the day. I'm 8 months out and 127 lbs down! Good luck

Scared that this is how it always will be!
I'm 7 months post op sleeve. I STILL count my protein, still drink a double shot of protein powder in the morning with my coffee and I am still watching my hair fall out by the dozen. BUT...... I'm also watching an amazing transformation!! I'm riding bikes with my children, dressing prettier for my husband, gaining health for all of us and loving life again. I'd rather watch my protein count than watch life pass me by!! Good luck my love, just take it day by day. You'll be fine

Disney World - Fat Friendly?
Last time I went to Disney, I was 345lbs and I'm 5'4" my hubby is 6ft and about 280. We both felt tight throughout the legs/thigh space but ok in the belly area. It was a bit uncomfortable banging around for our thighs but doable. The ride is not very long at all. Have fun!! I love Disney!

Puréed Food
I made my family corned beef. So I took some corned beef and sweet potato, blended the bejeezus out of it, and discovered my new favorite meal! I did that and chicken, but chicken has never sat well with my sleeve. Corned beef was a lot easier on the new tummy. Good luck!

Does your lady feel safe? (what do women want?)
I don't live in fear or scared to be around men when I'm alone despite a couple of crazy incidences. I was fondled by my PCP... Yes my doctor. He felt the need to check my breasts for lumps even though I had no complaints of pain or lumps, or history of breast cancer, or my age, 30 at the time. He simply asked his assistant to leave and said he needed to "check" my breasts. I told him I didn't understand why that would be necessary as I was just there to have some papers signed off. He said if I wanted my papers signed, he would need to have a complete examination. Mind you, all my papers needed was confirmation of him being my doctor for the past year. He got what he wanted and proceeded to tell me how lovely my nipples were. Needless to say, I called a lawyer as soon as I got home and was ready to raise some hell.... He died 3 weeks later. He was 70 years old! My husband is incredible! He makes me feel safe by just being with him. He recently made some man apologize to me for calling me a bitch while in traffic! It got ugly but nevertheless the man apologized! I was also held at gun point for my car when I was 18 years old. The guy shot at me and the bullet grazed my thigh. It was very scary, luckily the dummy had the wrong bullets for the gun and after that first shot, it jammed and wouldn't shoot anymore (at least that's what the cops explained to me) Call me stupid, but despite these less-than-friendly encounters with men, I am not afraid, and hope I never will be.
